Alert

[edit]

This is a standard message to notify contributors about an administrative ruling in effect. It does not imply that there are any issues with your contributions to date.

You have recently shown interest in the Arab–Israeli conflict. Due to past disruption in this topic area, a more stringent set of rules called discretionary sanctions is in effect: any administrator may impose sanctions on editors who do not strictly follow Wikipedia's policies, or any page-specific restrictions, when making edits related to the topic.

For additional information, please see the guidance on discretionary sanctions and the Arbitration Committee's decision here. If you have any questions, or any doubts regarding what edits are appropriate, you are welcome to discuss them with me or any other editor.

General prohobition

[edit]

Per Wikipedia:Arbitration/Index/Palestine-Israel_articles#General_Prohibition "All IP editors, accounts with fewer than 500 edits, and accounts with less than 30 days tenure are prohibited from editing any page that could be reasonably construed as being related to the Arab-Israeli conflict. This prohibition is preferably enforced by the use of extended confirmed protection, but where that is not feasible, it may also be enforced by reverts, page protections, blocks, the use of pending changes, and appropriate edit filters."Shrike (talk) 06:13, 24 October 2018 (UTC)[reply]

Alcohol

[edit]

Per " In the United States, 20%-40% of persons admitted to emergency departments are reported to have alcohol-related disorders" this is not about alcohol intoxication and people are not admitted to ERs but to hospitals. Adding text like "adverse" to complications is not needed. There are no "good" complications. Doc James (talk · contribs · email) 15:12, 29 October 2018 (UTC)[reply]

Violation of WP:CANVASS and WP:NPA

[edit]

Hi! You recent post to Palestine portal is violation of WP:CANVASS and WP:NPA. Please change it so it will follow a relevant policies. Also you should post similar neutral messages to WT:ISRAEL and WT:IPCOLL.If you continue with such behavior I will report you to relevant forum --Shrike (talk) 07:15, 7 November 2018 (UTC)[reply]

That only posting to the Palestine portal is violation of WP:CANVASS...that is rubbish, Shrike, and you know it. (Do you want me to post warnings about canvassing to all the editors who have only posted notice to the Israel portal and not the Palestinian portal, too?) Huldra (talk) 20:48, 7 November 2018 (UTC)[reply]
Yes if its about the conflict you welcome to warn relevant users. Please reread the relevant polices they linked in my initial message --Shrike (talk) 07:17, 8 November 2018 (UTC)[reply]
[edit]

An automated process has detected that when you recently edited American Muslims for Palestine, you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page Palestine (check to confirm | fix with Dab solver).
