User talk:Gmaulucci
A tag has been placed on Tridel, requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section G11 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the article seems to be blatant advertising which only promotes a company, product, group, service or person and would need to be fundamentally rewritten in order to become an encyclopedia article. Please read our the guidelines on spam as well as the Wikipedia:Business' FAQ for more information.
If you think that this notice was placed here in error, you may contest the deletion by adding {{hangon}}
to the top of the article (just below the existing speedy deletion or "db" tag), coupled with adding a note on the article's talk page explaining your position, but be aware that once tagged for speedy deletion, if the article meets the criterion it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but don't hesitate to add information to the article that would would render it more in conformance with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. Re:Tridel
[edit]The Tridel company is certainly large enough to merit an article. Why are you removing well referenced material? While some of the content discusses past controversies, they are an important part of the firm's history. Any search of past media records will confirm this. Please explain why you feel this content should be removed? - SimonP (talk) 02:04, 8 April 2009 (UTC)
- Please don't revert this page without responding to comments. - SimonP (talk) 21:57, 13 April 2009 (UTC)
Remove the article or minimally limit your discussion to the holding company.
- Are you a representative of the company? Wikipedia has no obligation to censor itself to only the holding company. The information in that article comes entirely from sources on the public record. If you know of any factual errors or misphrased sentences, please let me know and I will be sure to correct them. I'll give you some time to respond before putting the content back in, but be aware that continuing to remove content without explanation may get you blocked from editing Wikipedia. - SimonP (talk) 02:33, 14 April 2009 (UTC)
