[edit]Hi Globefan5, it is very nice of you to contribute the image to Wikimedia Commons, unfortunately the common birds have a large number of images and the articles only use a small number of the available images and those are chosen for specific criteria - we choose some to illustrate specific subspecies, some to show special plumages and the main "taxobox image" to give an overall view - preferable left facing and showing all the key identification features. We also choose to position the images so that it does not disturb the text. Your image is of a young bird (speckling) and may or may not be a female - based on the location it appears to be of subspecies nilgiriensis of which we already have good images. You should take time to understand Wikipedia - it is not a photo gallery but an encyclopaedia but your images are valuable and people will look at it from the commons gallery link below the article.
