My views on that topic are fairly well known. With all the talk about zomg conflict, zomg drama, zomg cats (see, now it looks like I reviewed your talk page before supporting), etc. going about, the last thing we need is something that produces more conflict, drama, and cats. Just got your note. You do what you need to do. Adminning is mindless and easy and high burnout city, but also kinda fun if only to see really nasty deleted stuff :-). People have their standards, I used to get angry about the most ridiculous ones, but I don't anymore. Don't quit Wiki over RFA, that would be like walking out of a perfectly good roast). Except, in a roast, people actually like you while they ridicule you. Dammit, I can't think of a good analogy. There have been several terrific editors that have been flamed out of rfa. Don't quit over it, leave on your own terms whenever the hell you feel like it. In light of WP:TL;DR, I wonder how would you edit my follow-up to Asenine's excellent question? I was impressed by the range of response styles this question provoked; and I'm giving some thought to posting it myself in upcoming RfA threads now that Asenine appears to be abandoning it. I have the impression that not everyone who addressed the question recognized a lady or the tiger aspect; and I would have thought that the RfA thread becomes an essential venue in which to inject an unaswerable conundrum. --Tenmei (talk) 18:22, 5 October 2008 (UTC)

A suggestion

Your response to my oppose, and my obviously simple typo, was distinctly rude. I think you need to take care to maintain a basic level of civility and good faith now that you have the tools. I also appreciated that. However, as I told Mr. W on his own talk page, I didn't find it quite sporting that his oppose cited an error which I'd corrected well before he wrote his oppose. (Nor did I appreciate that he ALSO cited the "per blog" oppose, which pretty much chapped my hide all the way around.) Congrats from me too! I've been lurking here and there, and never had a doubt about your rfa. Ok, so a few times I had doubts, but you did excellente. You proved what I knew about you all along, namely, that you rock, regardless of the state of your bosom. I'm willing to bet that the vast majority of Wikipedian men could likely fill a D-cup themselves, making for a quite interesting wet t-shirt contest I'm sure. Now that would be a fun meetup... :-). Don't go crazy with the tools. Nah, F that. Go crazy! They're loads of fun, and admin status is good for pickin people up in bars and nightclubs. I never voted on an RfA and would have definitely supported your nomination, but I guess I missed it (and well, you probably couldn't have let me know because of that pesky canvass rule, but hey, I wouldn't have said a word). But I'm pleased to see you passed and congrats on being an admin. You're definitely one of the more level-headed and funny editors here and I'm glad that hopefully PBS cruft and all of the other issues you go after will be a thing of the past :).
