Yello!!! good points there. Reasons why I keep it to "harmonics" base is becasue it's the most audiable, and the most obvious to hear. when I say about chromatic modulations eg. Brahms, it is a specific kind of "3RD harmonic" relationship, esp. in his piano sonata in F# major. Please, add in other textural elements, and rhythmic elements. I've mentioned the polyrhthme, polytonailities, and added folk songs (Bartok). Feel free to EDIT anything that you think it is necessary.
