Disambiguation link notification for February 19
[edit]Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. An automated process has detected that when you recently edited List of A.C. Milan records and statistics, you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page Carlo Galli. Such links are usually incorrect, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of unrelated topics with similar titles. (Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.)

[edit]Hello, I'm Mattythewhite. I noticed that you added or changed content in an article, Carlo Ancelotti, but you didn't provide a reliable source. It's been removed and archived in the page history for now, but if you'd like to include a citation and re-add it, please do so. You can have a look at referencing for beginners. If you think I made a mistake, you can leave me a message on my talk page. Content not supported by sources. Mattythewhite (talk) 22:24, 25 April 2023 (UTC)
- @Mattythewhite thank you for your message. Ancelotti did not take part to those matches indeed (he wasn't even on the bench). However, he was part of the squad in both seasons. Thus, i think he should be counted as winner of such trophies.
- What could be done is to add a note next to the year of the competition, stating that he did not take part into those games.
- What do you think? Giuliomil (talk) 11:54, 26 April 2023 (UTC)

The debut of Italian football clubs in European competitions
[edit]You have written in the revision page for the first entry of AC Milan in European competitions: The debut of AC Milan in European competitions took place in the 1938 Mitropa Cup. It is also listed down in this page, in the chapter "Other international competitions".
This is right chronologically, but if we consider the "first entry" in european competitions for the italian football clubs with the Mitropa Cup we need to update the data of the "first entry" for every italian football club who has participated in this competition in the thirties of the last century (Bologna, Fiorentina, Genoa, Inter, Juventus, Lazio, Napoli, Roma, Torino and Milan). For this reason I have changed that information.
If the "first entry" is in the Mitropa Cup for AC Milan, it is also the same case for the other teams in the similar situation, this is the problem. User:Disgusto 05:10, 8th September 2023 (UTC)

[edit]Hi there - Wikipedia relies on reliable sources to verify information, especially about living people. You didn't provide a source for your changes to the Herbert Kilpin article, and I couldn't find one either. If you have a reliable source please let me know and we can change the article. Please let me know if you have any questions. GiantSnowman 10:51, 4 November 2023 (UTC)
- Hi @GiantSnowman, I have added the right sources. You can have a look. Giuliomil (talk) 11:16, 4 November 2023 (UTC)
