Thanks for uploading Image:Lyriq AE.jpg. The image has been identified as not specifying the source and creator of the image, which is required by Wikipedia's policy on images. Commercial use of Image:LBentB W.jpg

[edit]

Hello, this is a message from an automated bot. A tag has been placed on Image:LBentB W.jpg, by another Wikipedia user, requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. The tag claims that it should be speedily deleted because Image:LBentB W.jpg is an image licensed as "for non-commercial use only" or "used with permission for use on Wikipedia only" which was either uploaded on or after 2005-05-19 or is not used in any articles (CSD I3).

If you created this media file and want to use it on Wikipedia, you may re-upload it (or amend the image description if it has not yet been deleted) and use the license {{GFDL-self}} to license it under the GFDL, or {{cc-by-sa-2.5}} to license it under the Creative Commons Attribution-ShareAlike license, or use {{PD-self}} to release it into the public domain.

If you did not create this media file but want to use it on Wikipedia, there are two ways to proceed. First, you may choose one of the fair use tags from this list if you believe one of those fair use rationales applies to this file. Second, you may want to contact the copyright holder and request that they make the media available under a free license.

If the article has already been deleted, see the advice and instructions at WP:WMD. This bot is only informing you of the nomination for speedy deletion, it did not nominate Image:LBentB W.jpg itself. Feel free to leave a message on the bot operator's talk page if you have any questions about this or any problems with this bot. If you have any questions about what to do next or why your image was nominated for speedy deletion please ask at Wikipedia:Media copyright questions. Thanks. --Android Mouse Bot 2 23:23, 2 July 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Possibly unfree File:Lyriq Headshot.jpg

[edit]

A file that you uploaded or altered, File:Lyriq Headshot.jpg, has been listed at Wikipedia:Possibly unfree files because its copyright status is unclear or disputed. If the file's copyright status cannot be verified, it may be deleted. You may find more information on the file description page. The picture was taken by Michael Kai Young during a photoshoot at the beginning of 2014. The pictures and rights are owned by Lyriq and he has free use to do whatever he likes with them.

Where did you take the picture? When? Ziva 84 (talk) 16:19, 7 August 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Lyriq Bent

Nice. He is a great actor and I'm sure he's a nice person. Just wondering, is there any autographed photos being sold? I am a fan of his work :) Ziva 84 (talk) 15:00, 8 August 2014 (UTC)[reply]

By the way, I already put in sources from reliable websites about his upcoming roles in The Book Of Negroes and 12 Monkeys. Wikipedia doesn't always consider imdb to be a reliable source. Ziva 84 (talk) 15:02, 8 August 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Am I supposed to use the contact box on http://lyriqbent.com/contact/? If so, it won't let me send it since the box with Home, Filmography, Stills, On Screen, and Contact keeps popping up, blocking the send button. Ziva 84 (talk) 15:10, 8 August 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Email address is there for me under Manager.

I sent you the e-mail. Ziva 84 (talk) 15:15, 8 August 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Rude Edit To Lyriq Bent Article

[edit]

I am disappointed with the recent edit you made to the Lyriq Bent article, due to the edit summary. Calling someone a "fk pain in the ass" is inappropriate, especially if you are supposed to be representing him. It is because of you that I have no interest in staying in contact with you regarding the autographed picture; it's pretty obvious I won't be getting it anyway since you didn't respond to my e-mail and you have been on from various IP Addresses since I sent that message (on August 8, 2014). I still like Lyriq Bent and his work, but I won't be trying to contact him ever again in case I have to deal with you. Ziva 84 (talk) 14:53, 13 August 2014 (UTC)[reply]

I'm trying to do my job and you've taken it upon yourself to repeatedly undo or change my revisions. I understand that Wikipedia is a public forum, but you are making it very difficult for me to make very basic revisions. I shouldn't have to go back and forth with you to update his career based on facts that I know. Furthermore, the reversal of changes I've made to correct grammatical mistakes on the use of the comma is a waste of time for both of us. I'm not about to go over my credentials and outline the 12+ years I've spent completing undergraduate and graduate degrees; however, I can tell you that my use of the comma is correct.

I did not receive an email from you. I am a person of my word and agreed to get you an autographed photo, regardless of my annoyance having to repeatedly make the same changes to his profile here. Lyriq responded to you via Facebook. If you want materials, send the self-addressed postage to his agent in Canada and I will ensure you get one.

Thank you.

Just so you know, just because you are his representative you still need to provide citations when you post something (for example, saying he will appear in a future TV show or film). See Wikipedia:Biographies of living persons. Going by your word alone isn't sufficient enough. I believe that you are his representative; however, anyone can come on here and claim that. Also, what is the contact address for his agent in Canada? It is not listed on his official website. 47.55.238.202 (talk) 15:48, 13 August 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Just an FYI, if you are an official representative of a notable person who has an article on Wikipedia, you should read Wikipedia's Conflict-of-Interest policy. By being a person close to the subject of the article, you are in a position of potential bias and conflict of interest, and while you aren't prohibited from editing, people need to be aware of your relationship to the subject. (I don't know if you've already gone through that yet - I came here while looking at the contribution history of User:Ziva84 regarding a separate matter.) — KieferSkunk (talk) — 19:44, 1 September 2014 (UTC)[reply]

A tag has been placed on File:Lyriq Bent.jpg requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section F1 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the image is an unused redundant copy (all pixels the same or scaled down) of an image in the same file format, which is on Wikipedia (not on Commons), and all inward links have been updated.

If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Click here to contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be removed without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. File permission problem with File:MKY Lyriq Bent Picture.jpg

[edit]

Thanks for uploading File:MKY Lyriq Bent Picture.jpg. I noticed that while you provided a valid copyright licensing tag, there is no proof that the creator of the file has agreed to release it under the given license.

If you are the copyright holder for this media entirely yourself but have previously published it elsewhere (especially online), please either

  • make a note permitting reuse under the CC-BY-SA or another acceptable free license (see this list) at the site of the original publication; or
  • Send an email from an address associated with the original publication to permissions-en@wikimedia.org, stating your ownership of the material and your intention to publish it under a free license. You can find a sample permission letter here. If you take this step, add {{OTRS pending}} to the file description page to prevent premature deletion.

If you did not create it entirely yourself, please ask the person who created the file to take one of the two steps listed above, or if the owner of the file has already given their permission to you via email, please forward that email to permissions-en@wikimedia.org.

If you believe the media meets the criteria at Wikipedia:Non-free content, use a tag such as {{non-free fair use}} or one of the other tags listed at Wikipedia:File copyright tags#Fair use, and add a rationale justifying the file's use on the article or articles where it is included. See Wikipedia:File copyright tags for the full list of copyright tags that you can use.

If you have uploaded other files, consider checking that you have provided evidence that their copyright owners have agreed to license their works under the tags you supplied, too. You can find a list of files you have created in your upload log. Files lacking evidence of permission may be deleted one week after they have been tagged, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. You may wish to read the Wikipedia's image use policy. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you. Sfan00 IMG (talk) 13:55, 16 August 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Replaceable fair use File:LB Headshot.jpg

[edit]

Thanks for uploading File:LB Headshot.jpg. I noticed that this file is being used under a claim of fair use. However, I think that the way it is being used fails the first non-free content criterion. This criterion states that files used under claims of fair use may have no free equivalent; in other words, if the file could be adequately covered by a freely-licensed file or by text alone, then it may not be used on Wikipedia. If you believe this file is not replaceable, please:

  1. Go to the file description page and add the text {{di-replaceable fair use disputed|<your reason>}} below the original replaceable fair use template, replacing <your reason> with a short explanation of why the file is not replaceable.
  2. On the file discussion page, write a full explanation of why you believe the file is not replaceable.

Alternatively, you can also choose to replace this non-free media item by finding freely licensed media of the same subject, requesting that the copyright holder release this (or similar) media under a free license, or by creating new media yourself (for example, by taking your own photograph of the subject).

If you have uploaded other non-free media, consider checking that you have specified how these media fully satisfy our non-free content criteria. You can find a list of description pages you have edited by clicking on this link. Note that even if you follow steps 1 and 2 above, non-free media which could be replaced by freely licensed alternatives will be deleted 2 days after this notification (7 days if uploaded before 13 July 2006), per the non-free content policy. If you have any questions, please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you. ~SuperHamster Talk Contribs 05:21, 11 October 2014 (UTC)[reply]
