Guide to referencing

[edit]

Click on "show" on the right of the orange bar to open contents.

Please see Talk:Park_West_Gallery#WP:SOCK and read the linked page. Do not use multiple accounts to gain edit advantage, or you are likely to be blocked. Ty 02:13, 25 July 2008 (UTC)[reply]

I have removed material from Park West Gallery per WP:BLP.[1] The reference given was a press release by Park West Gallery. Per WP:V this is not an acceptable source for contentious material about living people (nor is original court documentation admissable per WP:NOR). A reliable source such as The New York Times would be acceptable. Failing an appropriate source, this material should not be reinserted, and doing so may result in the editor being blocked. [edit]

As a courtesy to other editors, it is a Wikipedia guideline to sign your posts on talk pages, user talk pages, and WikiProject pages. To do so, simply add four tildes (~~~~) at the end of your comments. Your user name or IP address (if you are not logged in) and the date will then be automatically added along with a timestamp when you save your comment. Signing your comments helps people to find out who said something and provides them with a link to your user/talk page (for further discussion). For further info, read Wikipedia:Talk page guidelines. Thank you. Ty 22:08, 25 July 2008 (UTC)[reply]
