Information icon Please do not add or change content without citing a reliable source. Please review the guidelines at Wikipedia:Citing sources and take this opportunity to add references to the article. Thank you. Vaselineeeeeeee★★★ 15:10, 12 April 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Please cite reliable sources as stated above. Simply adding a ref tag doesn't add a reference - that is deceiving. It must be a link. Also insert the edit and the ref all in the same edit to avoid confusing other editors. Thanks. Vaselineeeeeeee★★★ 15:23, 12 April 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Wiki markup cheat sheet

[edit]

Hi GiacomoValenti, you may find Help:Cheatsheet helpful. Also, you can switch from "source code" editor to Visual Editor, which you may find easier. There is a pencil icon in the editing box with a drop down where you can switch back and forth. I also recommend the Wikipedia Adventure which is an interactive tutorial that teaches you basic editing, including how to add sources, etc. S0091 (talk) 15:26, 12 April 2020 (UTC)[reply]

What? GiacomoValenti (talk) 15:35, 12 April 2020 (UTC)[reply]

A page you created has been nominated for deletion because it is a biography of a living person that is entirely negative in tone and has unsourced content, according to section G10 of the criteria for speedy deletion.

Do not create articles about living people that are entirely negative in tone and unsourced. Wikipedia has a policy of verifiability and any negative information we use must be reliably sourced, and our articles must be balanced. Negative, unreferenced biographies of living people, along with attack pages, are not tolerated by Wikipedia, and users who create or repost such pages and images in violation of our biographies of living persons policy may be blocked from editing. Kleuske (talk) 15:33, 12 April 2020 (UTC)[reply]

You confused the fuck out of me but Johnny Ciancaglini is consigliere I got the info from a guy who has contacts in the philly mob GiacomoValenti (talk) 15:41, 12 April 2020 (UTC)[reply]

See WP:Original research. Vaselineeeeeeee★★★ 15:44, 12 April 2020 (UTC)[reply]
To add to the comments above, content must cite reliable published resources to establish verifiability. Since the the content you wrote, even just in your sandbox, regards a living person and possible criminal activity with no references, it had to be deleted per Wikipedia's biography of living people policy. Information icon Hello, I'm TheDeviantPro. I noticed that you made an edit concerning content related to a living (or recently deceased) person on Shad Gaspard, but you didn't support your changes with a citation to a reliable source, so I removed it. Wikipedia has a very strict policy concerning how we write about living people, so please help us keep such articles accurate and clear. If you think I made a mistake, or if you have any questions, you can leave me a message on my talk page. Thank you! TheDeviantPro (talk) 09:20, 19 May 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Sockpuppet investigation

[edit]

An editor has opened an investigation into sockpuppetry by you. Sockpuppetry is the use of more than one Wikipedia account in a manner that contravenes community policy. The investigation is being held at Wikipedia:Sockpuppet investigations/Gennaro "Jerry" Di Gregorio, where the editor who opened the investigation has presented their evidence. Please make sure you make yourself familiar with the guide to responding to investigations, and then feel free to offer your own evidence or to submit comments that you wish to be considered by the Wikipedia administrator who decides the result of the investigation. If you have been using multiple accounts (in a manner contrary to Wikipedia policy), please go to the investigation page and verify that now. Leniency is usually shown to those who promise not to do so again, or who did so unwittingly, but the abuse of multiple accounts is taken very seriously by the Wikipedia community.

I’m sorry but I made the 2nd account for backup. GiacomoValenti (talk) 01:07, 17 June 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Hello, GiacomoValenti, welcome to Wikipedia and thank you for your contributions. Your editing pattern indicates that you may be using multiple accounts or coordinating editing with people outside Wikipedia, such as Gennaro "Jerry" Di Gregorio (talk · contribs). Our policy on multiple accounts usually does not allow this, and users who misuse multiple accounts may be blocked from editing. If you operate multiple accounts directly or with the help of another person, please disclose these connections. Thank you.

Your recent bold edit has been reverted. Per the bold, revert, discuss cycle, after a bold edit is reverted, the status quo should remain while a discussion is started instead of edit-warring, and it should be resolved before reinstating the edit, after a needed consensus is formed to keep it. Vaselineeeeeeee★★★ 16:34, 22 July 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Hey Alexf, I would like to say sorry for that comment on this message board that was to be sent to someone else who keeps making my time on Wikipedia unbearable. What I mean is someone by the name of Vaselineeee keeps making reverting edits that I make to add to that article. And he’s been doing it for months and I’m fed up I was gonna ask if you could tell him to stop? GiacomoValenti (talk) 14:08, 30 July 2020 (UTC)[reply]

If your edits cite WP:Reliable sources, then you would find your experience here much more pleasant, but sine you continue to virtually never add sources, then you may continue to find yourself in these situations. Please familiarize yourself with the linked page and WP:ILC for how to cite. Vaselineeeeeeee★★★ 14:24, 30 July 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Stop icon You may be blocked from editing without further warning the next time you disrupt Wikipedia, as you did at Nine Trey Gangsters. You have been repeatedly warned (and blocked) for adding unsourced information. This was edit was unsourced. If you continue, you will be blocked from editing again. Please note blocks typically become longer each time. Your last block was for one week. It's time to catch on: Do NOT add information to articles without citing a reliable source.

Additionally, your edit made unsourced controversial claims about living people -- saying that two people are members of a violent criminal gang. You have been previously warned about this as well. Controversial claims about living or recently deceased people MUST cite reliable sources directly confirming the claim. Please read WP:BLP. Do NOT add controversial claims about living people without citing a reliable source for the statement.

If you disagree or do not understand either of these issues, please discuss the issues here before continuing to edit. - SummerPhDv2.0 20:43, 11 August 2020 (UTC) SummerPhDv2.0 20:43, 11 August 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. An automated process has detected that when you recently edited The Carlton Crew, you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page Carl Williams. Such links are usually incorrect, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of unrelated topics with similar titles. (Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.)

It's OK to remove this message. Also, to stop receiving these messages, follow these opt-out instructions. Thanks, DPL bot (talk) 12:55, 3 October 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Ariel Kiley moved to draftspace

[edit]

An article you recently created, Ariel Kiley, does not have enough sources and citations as written to remain published. It needs more citations from reliable, independent sources. (?) Information that can't be referenced should be removed (verifiability is of central importance on Wikipedia). I've moved your draft to draftspace (with a prefix of "Draft:" before the article title) where you can incubate the article with minimal disruption. When you feel the article meets Wikipedia's general notability guideline and thus is ready for mainspace, please click on the "Submit your draft for review!" button at the top of the page. — Sagotreespirit (talk) 05:50, 2 November 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Stop icon
You have been blocked indefinitely from editing for abusing multiple accounts per the evidence presented at Wikipedia:Sockpuppet investigations/GiacomoValenti.
