Feel free to post whatever messages you want on this page, I appreciate the company! But a few ground rules first:
- If you're bringing up a new topic, create a new category using "==Topic title==".
- When you reply to somebody else's comment use the colon ":" keyword before your post to indent it. This keeps things more readable.
- Remember to SIGN YOUR NAME ("~~~~").
- Finally, don't delete anything that somebody else has posted, (or anything that you've posted, for that matter). If you really must remove something you've posted, just
strike it out, and sign it off as an edit, if you wish.- Swear all you want, just no flames.
Cheers.
Cite your edits
[edit]Be prepared to defend your edits. Some of the folk here will make you fight for it. You might want to find some citations for the changes you made, specifically citing the nationality of the old woman and Kee. I think Cuaron has been quoted as saying that Theo dies in the boat from blood loss.Arcayne 09:28, 9 February 2007 (UTC)
- Well, there were minor changes, as you can see. The Fijian and Gypsy info was stated repeatedly by the characters in the film. The main issue is whether or not Theo was 'fatally shot', or 'severely wounded'. "I think a quote" is not as definitive as what is actually seen. We don't know if he actually dies, he just goes into shock. The boat shows up at about the same moment, and it's assumed that they would be able to provide adequate medical care, a là Bourne Identity. Additionaly, the source of his injury is not stated explicity. We initially assume a bullet (hence 'shot'), but shrapnel is just as, if not more, likely. After all he was just feet (or metres) from a few explosions. 'Severely wounded' is a blanket term that catches all of these possibilities while still expressing the urgency of the situation. If you still feel that the article-related issues here are reasonably debatable, feel free to copy this to the article's talk-page. As far as the 'editing without permission' issue, I will try to be more cautious with 'active pages' in the future.Ghostwo 14:27, 9 February 2007 (UTC)
Active is a very polite word to attach to it, Ghostwo. As for the Theo dying part, I thought as you did, that his fate was unsure, and that concluding it was OR. However, someone provided a link in the talk pages wherein Cuaron discussed Theo's death at the end, and what it meant in terms of sacrifice.Arcayne 01:53, 10 February 2007 (UTC)

I fixed it for you: [1]. You have to use the article's ordinary name (using punctuation marks), not the URL-encoded version (with the %whatever signs and underscores). Hope that helps! --ais523 14:34, 4 June 2007 (UTC)
- I tried that already! Guess I missed a space? Oh Well :P Ghostwo 14:36, 4 June 2007 (UTC)

The Wikipedia:Counter-Vandalism Unit project is under consideration to be moved to {{inactive}} and/or {{historical}} status. Another proposal is to delete or redirect the project. You have been identified as a project member and your input as to this matter would be welcomed at WT:CVU#Inactive.3F and at the deletion debate. Thank you! No personal opinions, please
[edit]Your post to Talk:Credit card had nothing to do with improving the article, and has been removed. --Orange Mike | Talk 00:30, 14 January 2010 (UTC)
