Copying within Wikipedia requires proper attribution
[edit]Thank you for your contributions to Wikipedia. It appears that you copied or moved text from Demographics of Denmark to Denmark (your addition has since been removed). While you are welcome to re-use Wikipedia's content, here or elsewhere, Wikipedia's licensing does require that you provide attribution to the original contributor(s). When copying within Wikipedia, this is supplied at minimum in an edit summary at the page into which you've copied content. It is good practice, especially if copying is extensive, to also place a properly formatted {{copied}} template on the talk pages of the source and destination. If you have copied material between pages before, even if it was a long time ago, please provide attribution for that duplication. You can read more about the procedure and the reasons at Wikipedia:Copying within Wikipedia. Thank you. — Diannaa 🍁 (talk) 20:42, 13 September 2017 (UTC)

Request reason:
No legal process, please remove blocking. Ghostofjustice (talk) 18:48, 22 July 2024 (UTC)
Decline reason:
You have stated that you withdraw the legal threat, but your additional comments lead me to conclude that you aren't able to contribute dispassionately about that topic so further disruption would resume. That doesn't make you a bad person, but my role here is to prevent disruption to Wikipedia. I am unwilling to unblock you without a specific agreement to avoid that topic area. 331dot (talk) 18:20, 23 July 2024 (UTC)
If you want to make any further unblock requests, please read the guide to appealing blocks first, then use the {{unblock}} template again. If you make too many unconvincing or disruptive unblock requests, you may be prevented from editing this page until your block has expired. Do not remove this unblock review while you are blocked.
To be clear, are you unequivocally withdrawing the threat that you made here? 331dot (talk) 20:16, 22 July 2024 (UTC)
- Yes that is correct. Thank you. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Ghostofjustice (talk • contribs)
- Only one open unblock request at a time, please. I have converted your reply to 331dot into a regular comment. --Drm310 🍁 (talk) 15:30, 23 July 2024 (UTC)
- My suggestion would be that you not contribute about that topic further, to avoid it causing a strong reaction in you. Is that okay with you? 331dot (talk) 16:49, 23 July 2024 (UTC)
- Please proceed to unblock me. If there was a Wikipedia article with lies on your family name (Lebanese Maronite family) and the mention of an African Serial Rapist Mohammed Thabet(most offenses in history) , what would you do ? Ghostofjustice (talk) 16:52, 23 July 2024 (UTC)
- Could you please delete the entire article or at least remove mentions to the North African rapist? Ghostofjustice (talk) 16:53, 23 July 2024 (UTC)

While you are blocked, this is not a space to make edit requests. The only thing you should be doing here while your account is blocked is answer administrators' questions, and patiently wait for your unblock request to be evaluated. As this is a volunteer project, and the queue of unblock requests is lengthy, it may take several days or even weeks for yours to be reviewed. Repeatedly insisting that your block be lifted before the review is completed will not speed up the process, or increase the chances that your block will be lifted.
You should also realize that Wikipedia is not censored; it may contain content that some readers consider objectionable or offensive. I'm sorry that the content of this particular article is upsetting to you, but lots of other people have surnames that are the same as notable individuals who did bad things. Your emotional reaction does not justify removing this content. If you are incapable of separating your emotions from your work here, then perhaps Wikipedia is not the place for you. --Drm310 🍁 (talk) 18:13, 23 July 2024 (UTC)
- Hi, this is not enough to block me. There are no legal threats. The african references are inexact. Just like African slaves took the names of their Anglo Scottish masters in the US. You will never say that Mc or Mac is african name. Ghostofjustice (talk) 18:51, 23 July 2024 (UTC)
- That is not an indivudal that did bad things. It defamation what dont you understand? Everyone uses wikipedia and you cannot put the name of the record global african rapist on this page under the name of my family. I am just asking you to remove that mention and not block me. What kind of people are you ? Ghostofjustice (talk) 18:54, 23 July 2024 (UTC)
- You are making my life difficult for no reason. It has nothing to do with wikipedia. If you want to find a crimnal rapist you can do it through Wikipedia tags. No reason to libel. Ghostofjustice (talk) 18:56, 23 July 2024 (UTC)
- It is not our fault, nor is it your fault, that this rapist has the same name as your family. It just is, and that is insufficient reason to remove article content, as Wikipedia is not censored for any reason. Your only option is to avoid that content all together. We would not remove Adolf Hitler from an encyclopedia of human knowledge if your family name was Hitler. You won't be unblocked as long as your focus is on this matter or as long as you show you are unable to edit about it dispassionately. Personally, that would be hard for me too, so I would avoid the topic. 331dot (talk) 18:59, 23 July 2024 (UTC)
- It is not "defamation" to accurately state the name of a convicted rapist. 331dot (talk) 18:59, 23 July 2024 (UTC)
- Mate employers use wikipedia, hiring managers especially in Finance. It is NOT his name. He is african, he has no name. They are tribal hordes, it is like if I say my name is Eichmann without links to Austria. Ghostofjustice (talk) 19:04, 23 July 2024 (UTC)
- Your comments are thoroughly disgusting and that, combined with your persistence after having the situation explained to you, is leading me to remove your access to this page. 331dot (talk) 19:07, 23 July 2024 (UTC)

If you think there are good reasons for being unblocked, you should read the guide to appealing blocks, then contact administrators by submitting a request to the Unblock Ticket Request System.
Please note that there could be appeals to the unblock ticket request system that have been declined leading to the post of this notice.
