Another PRR S-line problem
Remember that issue with the Pennsylvania Railroad S-Line at Indianapolis Union Station, with the Chicago-Louisville and South Bend-Indy lines claiming that the previous stations are Lebanon (NJT station)? Well, now it claims the previous station is Lenni (SEPTA station) in Delaware County, Pennsylvania, rather than an obvious station with the same name in Indiana. I tried fixing the dab myself, but it didn't seem to work. Purging the article didn't help get rid of the false station link either. ---------User:DanTD (talk) 17:11, 17 January 2014 (UTC)
- You two have the weirdest problems. The issue is the ifexist statements at the top of {{PRR stations}}. Lemme try to play with the listing. Pi.1415926535 (talk) 18:45, 17 January 2014 (UTC)
- Done Okay, fixed the Lebanon issue. Going to do some cleanup on the template as well. Pi.1415926535 (talk) 19:00, 17 January 2014 (UTC)
Former services
Re: Saint Paul Union Depot.
Thank you for that. I see too many examples of Template:Infobox station that are overstuffed. I think a better compromise would be to keep the Former services succession box but attach it to the related History section. There it would have some relevance, rather than isolated outside the body of the article in External links. Thanks for your positive attitude - it's refreshing to find on Wikipedia. Secondarywaltz (talk) 23:14, 20 January 2014 (UTC)
- P.S. I have also tried to remove {{{line}}} when it is redundant to the succession boxes in {{{services}}}, but some people revert it. The Northeast Corridor, for example, would be a line that Amtrak services operate over, but nobody uses it that way. Secondarywaltz (talk) 23:14, 20 January 2014 (UTC)
- Ah yes, that would be a good place to put it on articles such as Saint Paul Union Depot that have a large history section. But on other articles that don't have such a vast history, it might be better to put them at the bottom. —GFOLEY FOUR!— 15:04, 21 January 2014 (UTC)
Union Station (Pine Bluff, Arkansas)
Hi there. I'm not sure why you removed "Union Station (Pine Bluff, Arkansas)" from the category "National Register of Historic Places in Arkansas". Thanks. Magnolia677 (talk) 01:08, 21 January 2014 (UTC)
- Talk page stalker here. The page is already in the subcategory Category:Railway stations on the National Register of Historic Places in Arkansas. Pi.1415926535 (talk) 01:45, 21 January 2014 (UTC)
- Hi there. I looked at the category structure, and "Railway stations on the National Register of Historic Places in Arkansas" is a subcategory of "Buildings and structures on the National Register of Historic Places in Arkansas". Shouldn't both instead be subcategories of "National Register of Historic Places in Arkansas"? Thanks. Magnolia677 (talk) 05:11, 21 January 2014 (UTC)
- I think the current structure would be correct, but I'm not really that much of an "expert" on catergories. It seems like all the other states use this same structure; it might be good to start a discussion at the National Register of Historic Places wikiproject. —GFOLEY FOUR!— 15:07, 21 January 2014 (UTC)
- Aren't there NRHP categories for counties and cities in Arkansas, though? ---------User:DanTD (talk) 13:45, 23 January 2014 (UTC)

Indef semi
Hi Gfoley4, would you consider dropping your indef semi of David Ortiz (edit | talk | history | protect | delete | links | watch | logs | views) to pending changes or even unprotecting? It only gets around 500 views a day so there shouldn't be too much of a problem. Callanecc (talk • contribs • logs) 00:09, 7 February 2014 (UTC)
- Done Sorry I didn't see this sooner. But I will expect the vandalism to increase once the season starts, but we'll see. —GFOLEY FOUR!— 14:50, 12 February 2014 (UTC)
Saint Louis Union Station Former Services
I almost added the routeboxes of former services at Union Station (St. Louis) to the existing infobox. Should I leave that be so you can add other former railroads and lines, or would it be okay if I throw that S-Line pack under the light rail S-line anyhow? ---------User:DanTD (talk) 18:10, 11 February 2014 (UTC)
- I'd be fine with it, although it'd probably look better at the bottom of the article (IMO) so it doesn't make the infobox huge. —GFOLEY FOUR!— 14:51, 12 February 2014 (UTC)

PRR S-Line question
This time I'm asking a question about one of the former S-line templates you've added to stations; I noticed that between Eddystone (SEPTA station) and Crum Lynne (SEPTA station) you've got Baldwin (PRR station). Was that the real location of the Baldwin Locomotive Works, or was it strictly Eddystone (SEPTA station)? And if you don't know the answer to this, maybe User:PRRfan can chime in on it. ---------User:DanTD (talk) 04:52, 4 April 2014 (UTC)
- I confess I don't even know what an S-Line or S-Line template is. What is it? PRRfan (talk) 14:32, 4 April 2014 (UTC)
- I don't really know where the locomotive works were located but I'd assume it wasn't on the mainline. And the s-line is the templates that show what stations are next. So on those SEPTA station articles there are SEPTA and PRR s-lines (I added the PRR ones). —GFOLEY FOUR!— 16:10, 4 April 2014 (UTC)
