I admit there is less solid evidence than usual as he has edited different pages than usual, But I think that the above IP is probably worth watching. 67.247.23.150 (talk) 05:17, 1 June 2011 (UTC)

SineBot
SineBot probably signed this because it saw that you were linking to Gfoley4's userpage when you where logged in as Gfoley5, so it though you where impersonating another user. That's probably why it signed it. Crazymonkey1123 (Jacob) T or M/Sign mine 00:23, 2 June 2011 (UTC)

Hi there FOLEY, VASCO here,
after this player's page was protected for a month, the vandalism returns, from India now...really cosmic! An anon "user", from what i see from edit history (please see here http://en.wikipedia.org/w/index.php?title=Sergio_Busquets&action=history), he has at least two IP addresses, one starting with "122", the other with "125", has resumed the work of Shiva...pityful!
Attentively - --Vasco Amaral (talk) 17:18, 7 June 2011 (UTC)
After I came home from work, I noticed you had blocked Scryer 360 indefinitely. However, Scryer 360 is not a vandal. They appear to be a long standing wiki-user who just happens to be suffering from some wikistress at the moment.
Some sort of "enforced wikibreak" is probably a good idea, but would you care to reduce the block to 24 hours? --Kim Bruning (talk) 21:52, 7 June 2011 (UTC)
- Reblocked for a period of 20 hours, which is about 24 hours if you add the time already served. —GFOLEY FOUR— 22:04, 7 June 2011 (UTC)

Cape Spear again
I'm not sure if protocol is to come back to you or just go to WP:RFPP, but there are now various IPs adding the spam link back to Cape Spear. Is semi-protection possible? (Other IPs have made legitimate edits). Thanks for your help. Station1 (talk) 21:28, 11 June 2011 (UTC)
- I've blocked the "192.246.231.0/24" range a week—where most of the spamming has come from. There is not much activity on that range, and it is pretty small. —GFOLEY FOUR— 22:01, 11 June 2011 (UTC)

CDMI
Who was contacted before the page for CDMI was deleted? The SNIA will be happy to look over objections to its content and try to fix them. As it stands, the deletion (by an expert on trains!) appears to have been preemptory, and may have been motivated by competing parties. We request access to the discussion and history for this page.
Thanks,

Pet peeves
Adding a "Google Maps Street View link" to articles that have coordinates. This is literally adding a POV. Users can open the coordinates with whatever software they choose, including Street View. Just thought I would ask why you add that link extensively and why you think it is so important? P.S. Congrats on the admin thing. It keeps you busy! —Secondarywaltz 16:30, 18 June 2011 (UTC)
- I think it really adds something to the article. While the coordinate link is there, I find it easier to just click on one link—in the article body—that takes you right "trackside". —GFOLEY FOUR— 02:10, 20 June 2011 (UTC)
- Fair enough! Your work is so reliable, and I usually trust everything you do, but that just seemed to be such a stong focus on something relatively trivial. I thought I would ask - and now I know why. Thanks. Secondarywaltz (talk) 03:07, 20 June 2011 (UTC)

Vandalism only
Hi there FOLEY, VASCO here,
from what i see, this IP (standard, lucky us) is only being used to vandalize (please see here http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Special:Contributions/41.190.89.69). You will, as always, decide what's best.
Keep up the good work, until some other time - --Vasco Amaral (talk) 15:10, 22 June 2011 (UTC)
- And another (please see here http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Special:Contributions/85.245.57.187 - note the amount of SECTION BLANKING and REFERENCES REMOVED in his edits, and by the way ZERO summaries!), the person has also been warned several times... --Vasco Amaral (talk) 23:57, 22 June 2011 (UTC)
- Also, in UD Las Palmas, vandalism afloat from two "users" in the last days, one from CATERPILLAR INC., the other from an account which probably comes from someone "working" there. Again, if i am bothering you, just say anything, i'll take my queries elsewhere, don't want to impose. --Vasco Amaral (talk) 17:32, 23 June 2011 (UTC)
- I will try to look at this today—I'm busy since this weekend is "Railroad Days" and I'm a railfan! —GFOLEY FOUR— 18:49, 25 June 2011 (UTC)
- Sorry for the late response; this thread got away from me. I'll keep an eye on the ips. —GFOLEY FOUR— 03:32, 4 July 2011 (UTC)
- Hey man, no problem whatsoever! Vandalism - unfortunately! - is not only in football, and we also have our personal stuff we like to edit/read/watch out. Regards - --Vasco Amaral (talk) 01:11, 5 July 2011 (UTC)
Raid-related unblock
Thanks a bunch. --SuperEditor (talk) 05:37, 23 June 2011 (UTC)
- No problem, but could you please apologize to him via Email or something? —GFOLEY FOUR— 05:41, 23 June 2011 (UTC)
@Gfoley - this got drawn to attention and I got curious and took a look. I thought you'd like to have some feedback - namely to me this seems to show high quality adminship. It would have been incredibly easy to see "vicious personal attack, heavy block, sit it out". From your handling, I get the impression that 1/ you assessed the apology as appearing to show genuine regret and likely lesson learned, and if not, that it could be handled if the behavior repeated, and 2/ that as blocking admin you kept the eye on the ball of "desired change to conduct" rather than automatic "must... block" once the block appeared to have done its educational job. If that's so, then this incident says quite a lot that's positive about your admin judgment :) To SuperEditor - you got good quality handling. I hope it will indeed be a "first and last time". FT2 (Talk | email) 06:15, 23 June 2011 (UTC)
