Speedy deletion nomination of Rob (rapper)
[edit]If this is the first article that you have created, you may want to read the guide to writing your first article.
You may want to consider using the Article Wizard to help you create articles.
A tag has been placed on Rob (rapper) requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section A7 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the article appears to be about a person or group of people, but it does not indicate how or why the subject is important or significant: that is, why an article about that subject should be included in an encyclopedia. Under the criteria for speedy deletion, such articles may be deleted at any time. Please read more about what is generally accepted as notable.
If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Click here to contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be removed without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. If the page is deleted, and you wish to retrieve the deleted material for future reference or improvement, then please contact the deleting administrator. Wgolf (talk) 23:22, 16 July 2015 (UTC)

[edit]Please refrain from changing genres, as you did to List of best-selling albums, without providing a source or establishing a consensus on the article's talk page first. Genre changes to suit your own point of view are considered disruptive. Thank you. Mlpearc (open channel) 02:59, 9 January 2016 (UTC)
Please stop your disruptive editing. If you continue to blank out or remove portions of page content, templates, or other materials from Wikipedia, as you did at Sean Lennon, you may be blocked from editing. Thank you. Sundayclose (talk) 18:33, 25 January 2016 (UTC)
You may be blocked from editing without further warning the next time you vandalize Wikipedia, as you did at The Beatles. Jdcomix (talk) 23:35, 25 January 2016 (UTC)

[edit]Thank you for your contributions. Please mark your edits, such as your recent edits to LaserDisc, as "minor" only if they are minor edits. In accordance with Help:Minor edit, a minor edit is one that the editor believes requires no review and could never be the subject of a dispute. Minor edits consist of things such as typographical corrections, formatting changes or rearrangement of text without modification of content. Additionally, the reversion of clear-cut vandalism and test edits may be labeled "minor". Thank you. ☾Loriendrew☽ ☏(ring-ring) 21:54, 27 September 2016 (UTC)

[edit]Your addition to Kim Jong-un has been removed, as it appears to have added copyrighted material to Wikipedia without evidence of permission from the copyright holder. If you are the copyright holder, please read Wikipedia:Donating copyrighted materials for more information on uploading your material to Wikipedia. For legal reasons, Wikipedia cannot accept copyrighted material, including text or images from print publications or from other websites, without an appropriate and verifiable license. All such contributions will be deleted. File source and copyright licensing problem with File:Kim-Jong-un.jpg
[edit]Thanks for uploading File:Kim-Jong-un.jpg. However, it currently is missing information on its copyright status and its source. Wikipedia takes copyright very seriously.
If you did not create this work entirely yourself, you will need to specify the owner of the copyright. If you obtained it from a website, please add a link to the page from which it was taken, together with a brief restatement of the website's terms of use of its content. If the original copyright holder is a party unaffiliated with the website, that author should also be credited. You will also need to state under what licensing terms it was released. Please refer to the image use policy to learn what files you can or cannot upload on Wikipedia. The page on copyright tags may help you to find the correct tag to use for your file.
Please add this information by editing the image description page. If the necessary information is not added within the next seven days, the image will be deleted. If the file is already gone, you can still make a request for undeletion and ask for a chance to fix the problem.
Please also check any other files you may have uploaded to make sure they are correctly tagged. Here is a list of your uploads. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you. Dr. K. 04:18, 17 December 2016 (UTC)
Speedy deletion nomination of File:Kim-Jong-un.jpg
[edit]A tag has been placed on File:Kim-Jong-un.jpg requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section F9 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the file appears to be a blatant copyright infringement. For legal reasons, we cannot accept copyrighted content borrowed from other web sites or printed material, and as a consequence, your addition will most likely be deleted. Wikipedia takes copyright violations very seriously and persistent violators will be blocked from editing.
If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Contest this speedy deletion". – Finnusertop (talk ⋅ contribs) 07:52, 17 December 2016 (UTC)

[edit]Hello, and welcome to Wikipedia. You appear to be repeatedly reverting or undoing other editors' contributions at The Beatles (album). Although this may seem necessary to protect your preferred version of a page, on Wikipedia this is known as "edit warring" and is usually seen as obstructing the normal editing process, as it often creates animosity between editors. Instead of reverting, please discuss the situation with the editor(s) involved and try to reach a consensus on the talk page.
If editors continue to revert to their preferred version they are likely to be blocked from editing Wikipedia. This isn't done to punish an editor, but to prevent the disruption caused by edit warring. In particular, editors should be aware of the three-revert rule, which says that an editor must not perform more than three reverts on a single page within a 24-hour period. Edit warring on Wikipedia is not acceptable in any amount, and violating the three-revert rule is very likely to lead to a block. Thank you. Sundayclose (talk) 21:02, 6 May 2017 (UTC)

Edit warring on The Beatles
[edit] You currently appear to be engaged in an edit war according to the reverts you have made on The Beatles. Users are expected to collaborate with others, to avoid editing disruptively, and to try to reach a consensus rather than repeatedly undoing other users' edits once it is known that there is a disagreement.
Please be particularly aware that Wikipedia's policy on edit warring states:
- Edit warring is disruptive regardless of how many reverts you have made.
- Do not edit war even if you believe you are right.
If you find yourself in an editing dispute, use the article's talk page to discuss controversial changes; work towards a version that represents consensus among editors. You can post a request for help at an appropriate noticeboard or seek dispute resolution. In some cases it may be appropriate to request temporary page protection. If you engage in an edit war, you may be blocked from editing. Strawberry4Ever (talk) 18:53, 11 December 2017 (UTC)

. only (talk) 22:40, 11 December 2017 (UTC)White Album/The Beatles
[edit]Would you please stop your constant, disruptive editing on Beatles articles – which has been commented on here in the past. The "White Album" is a popular name for the Beatles' 1968 double album and there's no reason why it can't be used, particularly to vary wording when the band name appears so frequently. In all articles, this alternative, unofficial title is introduced correctly, so the reader is in no way confused when the phrase "White Album" appears. Occasionally in subsequent mentions, the album is still referred to as The Beatles, anyway, but the changes you keep making, and have done over a period of years, seem to be based on a personal obsession with this issue, or plain awkwardness, rather than any wish to genuinely improve the articles. I think everyone's been very impatient with you over this. If you continue to blindly change any mention of the album to The Beatles, I'll suggest you receive a topic ban from all WP Beatles articles. Thanks. JG66 (talk) 06:08, 2 June 2018 (UTC)
White Album/The Beatles
[edit]“The White Album” is just a nickname. IT IS NOT THE OFFICIAL NAME. I prefer to call albums by their proper name, not names that fans have made. The Beatles themselves named the album “The Beatles”, and that is what it should be called. Getrobbed (talk) 06:14, 2 June 2018 (UTC)

[edit]Please refrain from making unconstructive edits to Wikipedia, as you did at Something (Beatles song). Your edits appear to be disruptive and have been or will be reverted.
- If you are engaged in an article content dispute with another editor, please discuss the matter with the editor at their talk page, or the article's talk page, and seek consensus with them. Alternatively, you can read Wikipedia's dispute resolution page, and ask for independent help at one of the relevant noticeboards.
- If you are engaged in any other form of dispute that is not covered on the dispute resolution page, please seek assistance at Wikipedia's Administrators' noticeboard/Incidents.
Please ensure you are familiar with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines, and please do not continue to make edits that appear disruptive. Continued disruptive editing may result in loss of editing privileges. Thank you. JG66 (talk) 00:56, 15 April 2021 (UTC)

- Another warning to stop changing White Album to The Beatles without discussion or consensus. Do again and you could lose your editing privileges. Sundayclose (talk) 02:41, 6 January 2022 (UTC)
I’m sorry, let me get this straight. So you DON’T want me to use the album’s OFFCIAL name? Because the last time I checked, the OFFICIAL name of the album is “The Beatles”, so that’s what I’m calling it. Getrobbed (talk) 09:50, 6 January 2022 (UTC)
- What I want you to do is pay attention and respect reverts from multiple editors, which you do in violation of WP:BRD. If you continue you can be blocked for edit warring. If you want to remove the commonly used name from an article after your edit has been reverted by more than one editor, you are required to get consensus on the article's talk page. Sundayclose (talk) 18:53, 6 January 2022 (UTC)
Well, maybe I would respect reverts from multiple editors if they would stop changing the official name of the Beatles' SELF TITLED album into a fan made, unofficial one. Look at the album cover. Do you see "The White Album" written anywhere? Look at the album's Spotify page. Do you see it titled as "The White Album"? No, it's titled "The Beatles" for the 2018 mix and "The Beatles (Remastered)" for the 2009 remaster. Even the Beatles' website lists the album as "The Beatles". On Spotify, Thebeatles.com, and YouTube, it's listed as "The Beatles", NOT "The White Album". Just saying. Go see for yourself.
- You've been reverted by two editors and properly warned. I don't need to repeat myself. You don't need to agree with anyone; you just need consensus to make the edit. If you continue to edit war and revert without consensus you will be blocked. I'm finished here. Sundayclose (talk) 14:51, 7 January 2022 (UTC)
How do I get consensus? Getrobbed (talk) 19:44, 7 January 2022 (UTC)
- You do what you should have done in the first place. You go to the article's talk page and raise the issue. You then wait to see if you get any support for your suggestion. But the consensus must be clear. This time before you act impulsively, read WP:CON entirely and do what it says. Sundayclose (talk) 20:09, 7 January 2022 (UTC)
