This is an automated message from CorenSearchBot. I have performed a web search with the contents of Champ Libre, and it appears to include a substantial copy of http://fcj.compati.cn/edition-champ-libre. For legal reasons, we cannot accept copyrighted text or images borrowed from other web sites or printed material; such additions will be deleted. You may use external websites as a source of information, but not as a source of sentences. See our copyright policy for further details.
This message was placed automatically, and it is possible that the bot is confused and found similarity where none actually exists. If that is the case, you can remove the tag from the article and it would be appreciated if you could drop a note on the maintainer's talk page. CorenSearchBot (talk) 17:34, 3 November 2009 (UTC)
- Hi. :) With respect to your note here, while it might seem to be a mistake, it is in fact not. While you are welcome to re-use Wikipedia's content, here or elsewhere, Wikipedia's licensing does require that you provide attribution to the original contributor(s). When copying within Wikipedia, this is supplied at minimum in edit summary at the page into which you've copied content. It is good practice, especially if copying is extensive, to make a note in an edit summary at the source page as well. There is also a "template" (a kind of rubber stamp, so to speak) that you can use to note the copying at the articles' talk pages: {{copied}}. Another contributor has already removed the content from Champ Libre. If you want to restore it, please be sure you follow this procedure. If you aren't sure how, you're more than welcome to stop by my talk page with questions.
- If you have copied material between pages before, even if it was a long time ago, please provide attribution for that duplication. --Moonriddengirl (talk) 13:41, 4 November 2009 (UTC)
This is an automated message from VWBot. I have performed a web search with the contents of Jaime Semprun, and it appears to include material copied directly from http://libcom.org/news/jaime-semprun-has-died-12082010?quicktabs_1=0.
It is possible that the bot is confused and found similarity where none actually exists. If that is the case, you can remove the tag from the article. The article will be reviewed to determine if there are any copyright issues.
If substantial content is duplicated and it is not public domain or available under a compatible license, it will be deleted. For legal reasons, we cannot accept copyrighted text or images borrowed from other web sites or printed material. You may use such publications as a source of information, but not as a source of sentences. See our copyright policy for further details. (If you own the copyright to the previously published content and wish to donate it, see Wikipedia:Donating copyrighted materials for the procedure.) VWBot (talk) 09:48, 12 March 2011 (UTC)
Speedy deletion nomination of Jaime Semprun
[edit]If this is the first article that you have created, you may want to read the guide to writing your first article.
You may want to consider using the Article Wizard to help you create articles.
A tag has been placed on Jaime Semprun requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section G12 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the article appears to be a clear copyright infringement. For legal reasons, we cannot accept copyrighted text or images borrowed from other web sites or printed material, and as a consequence, your addition will most likely be deleted. You may use external websites as a source of information, but not as a source of sentences. This part is crucial: say it in your own words.
If the external website belongs to you, and you want to allow Wikipedia to use the text — which means allowing other people to modify it — then you must verify that externally by one of the processes explained at Wikipedia:Donating copyrighted materials. If you are not the owner of the external website but have permission from that owner, see Wikipedia:Requesting copyright permission. You might want to look at Wikipedia's policies and guidelines for more details, or ask a question here.
If you think that this notice was placed here in error, you may contest the deletion by adding {{hang on}}
to the top of the page that has been nominated for deletion (just below the existing speedy deletion, or "db", tag; if no such tag exists, then the page is no longer a speedy delete candidate and adding a hang-on tag is unnecessary), coupled with adding a note on the talk page explaining your position, but be aware that once tagged for speedy deletion, if the page meets the criterion, it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but don't hesitate to add information to the page that would render it more in conformance with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. Oriol Romeu - Reply
[edit]Hi there GERONIMO, VASCO from Portugal here,
thanks for the reference, but in the reference it says that the deal is NEAR ("cercano"), so it is not COMPLETE yet. Let's wait until the negotiations are finished (in a positive or negative manner).
Also, the last editors left the article in horrible display, it looked like he played for both Chelsea and Barcelona. Attentively, happy weekend - --Vasco Amaral (talk) 20:34, 21 July 2011 (UTC)
Nomination of Rafa Alcántara for deletion
[edit]A discussion is taking place as to whether the article Rafa Alcántara is suitable for inclusion in Wikipedia according to Wikipedia's policies and guidelines or whether it should be deleted.
The article will be discussed at Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Rafa Alcántara until a consensus is reached, and anyone is welcome to contribute to the discussion. The nomination will explain the policies and guidelines which are of concern. The discussion focuses on good quality evidence, and our policies and guidelines.
Users may edit the article during the discussion, including to improve the article to address concerns raised in the discussion. However, do not remove the article-for-deletion template from the top of the article. Mr. Mario (talk) 21:53, 12 August 2011 (UTC)
Pagnon
[edit]Thank you for your message - I apologise for my mistake. But what was the book which Debord disliked? The article only mentions one book written by Francis Pagnon. If he wrote others, it would be best to expand the article saying what these are. Best, --Smerus (talk) 06:41, 23 January 2013 (UTC)
- Thanks, I understand now. I think you might mention in the article that the Wagner book was his only one, then.--Smerus (talk) 07:47, 23 January 2013 (UTC)
Pagnon AfD proposal
[edit]The article Francis Pagnon has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:
- non-notable: meets no standards for notability under either WP:BK, WP:NMUSIC, or WP:BIO. The article is a translation from French Wikipedia which also provides no sources other than the single book published by Pagnon, and two references in private correspondence of Guy Debord. The description of the contents of Pagnon's book is not sourced and appears to be WP:OR. No secondary sources (let alone multiple secondary sources) commenting on Pagnon or his work are otherwise to be found on Google. Pagnon's book has never been published in English. The article is an orphan.
While all contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, content or articles may be deleted for any of several reasons.
You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{proposed deletion/dated}}
notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.
Please consider improving the article to address the issues raised. Removing {{proposed deletion/dated}}
will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. In particular, the speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and articles for deletion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion. Smerus (talk) 16:05, 26 January 2013 (UTC)
