Welcome

Hello and welcome to Wikipedia. We appreciate encyclopedic contributions, but some of your recent contributions seem to be advertising or for promotional purposes. Wikipedia does not allow advertising in articles. For more information on this, see

If you still have questions, there is a new contributor's help page, or you can write {{helpme}} below this message along with a question and someone will be along to answer it shortly. You may also find the following pages useful for a general introduction to Wikipedia.

I hope you enjoy editing Wikipedia! Please sign your name on talk pages using four tildes (~~~~); this will automatically produce your name and the date. Feel free to write a note on the bottom of my talk page if you want to get in touch with me. Again, welcome! OhNoitsJamie Talk 21:07, 22 August 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Looking much better. There are still a few cleanup items and a definite need for references. There is only one section that is really an advert and that is partially my fault for deleting the contact information block. Overall, if you can remove the cheerleading type words and try to make the article as NPOV as possible, it should be a keeper! Spryde 00:19, 18 September 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Oh, and one last thing, you may want to check out the licensing for the RGD Ontario logo. It has been marked for deletion as it needs to have a free license associated with the image. Spryde 00:21, 18 September 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Thanks!!

[edit]

..but we are not finished!! We started with copy from promotional material and will be flushing out over the next couple of days to improve the tone . Thanks for the advice and guidance.

Image Copyright problem
Image Copyright problem

Thank you for uploading Image:Rgdlogo.jpg. However, it currently is missing information on its copyright status. Wikipedia takes copyright very seriously. It may be deleted soon, unless we can determine the license and the source of the image. If you know this information, then you can add a copyright tag to the image description page.

If you have any questions, please feel free to ask them at the media copyright questions page. Thanks again for your cooperation. NOTE: once you correct this, please remove the tag from the image's page. STBotI 03:32, 18 September 2007 (UTC)[reply]

An editor has nominated The Association of Registered Graphic Designers of Ontario (RGD Ontario), an article on which you have worked or that you created, for deletion. We appreciate your contributions, but the nominator doesn't believe that the article satisfies Wikipedia's criteria for inclusion and has explained why in his/her nomination (see also "What Wikipedia is not").

Your opinions on whether the article meets inclusion criteria and what should be done with the article are welcome; please participate in the discussion by adding your comments at Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/The Association of Registered Graphic Designers of Ontario (RGD Ontario) and please be sure to sign your comments with four tildes (~~~~).

You may also edit the article during the discussion to improve it but should not remove the articles for deletion template from the top of the article; such removal will not end the deletion debate. Thank you. BJBot (talk) 20:14, 3 January 2008 (UTC)[reply]

This is an automated message from VWBot. I have performed a web search with the contents of Albert Kai-Wing Ng, and it appears to include material copied directly from http://www.icograda.org/news/year/2008_news/articles1041.htm.

It is possible that the bot is confused and found similarity where none actually exists. If that is the case, you can remove the tag from the article. The article will be reviewed to determine if there are any copyright issues.

If substantial content is duplicated and it is not public domain or available under a compatible license, it will be deleted. For legal reasons, we cannot accept copyrighted text or images borrowed from other web sites or printed material. You may use such publications as a source of information, but not as a source of sentences. See our copyright policy for further details. (If you own the copyright to the previously published content and wish to donate it, see Wikipedia:Donating copyrighted materials for the procedure.) Unfinished one-line BLPs

[edit]

Please don't leave articles as incomplete as you did with Philip Sung, Helen Mah and the rest of the bunch. Especially when they are about real living people. Without even touching the subject of notability, these are AFD firewood. East of Borschov 20:12, 9 September 2010 (UTC)[reply]

I've deleted them per WP:CSD#A7. Please review Wikipedia:Biographies of living persons and Wikipedia:Notability (people). Thanks.--Tikiwont (talk) 07:54, 7 October 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Never, ever move a disambiguous page out of article space and into User space. That page had several redirects that were also screwed up. No article can EVER be redirected to user space. Bgwhite (talk) 07:22, 14 June 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Hi,
You appear to be eligible to vote in the current Arbitration Committee election. The Arbitration Committee is the panel of editors responsible for conducting the Wikipedia arbitration process. It has the authority to enact binding solutions for disputes between editors, primarily related to serious behavioural issues that the community has been unable to resolve. This includes the ability to impose site bans, topic bans, editing restrictions, and other measures needed to maintain our editing environment. The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail. If you wish to participate, you are welcome to review the candidates' statements and submit your choices on the voting page. Orphaned non-free image File:The RGD Logo.jpg

[edit]
⚠

Thanks for uploading File:The RGD Logo.jpg. The image description page currently specifies that the image is non-free and may only be used on Wikipedia under a claim of fair use. However, the image is currently not used in any articles on Wikipedia. If the image was previously in an article, please go to the article and see why it was removed. You may add it back if you think that that will be useful. However, please note that images for which a replacement could be created are not acceptable for use on Wikipedia (see our policy for non-free media).

Note that any non-free images not used in any articles will be deleted after seven days, as described in the criteria for speedy deletion. Thank you. --B-bot (talk) 19:26, 5 May 2016 (UTC)[reply]
