Disambiguation pages

[edit]

Please note that disambiguation pages like Solaria are meant to help readers find a specific existing article quickly and easily. For that reason, they have guidelines that are different from articles. From the Wikipedia:Disambiguation dos and don'ts you should:

  • Only list articles that readers might reasonably be looking for
  • Use short sentence fragment descriptions, with no punctuation at the end
  • Use exactly one navigable link ("blue link") in each entry that mentions the title being disambiguated
  • Only add a "red link" if used in existing articles, and include a "blue link" to an appropriate article
  • Do not pipe links (unless style requires it) – keep the full title of the article visible
  • Do not insert external links or references - Wikipedia is not a business directory

Sorry for the extremely late reply - thanks for letting me know! I do think that Solaria in the context of voice synths is something a user would reasonably search for (given that she's a fairly high-profile product in music and vocal synth spaces) - but I completely agree that given the lack of information on English Wikipedia regarding newer vocal synths (ie: SynthesizerV, DiffSinger, as opposed to older vsynths like Vocaloid) means that the disambiguation I made did not fit the guidelines.
Once I have more free time, I may create the requisite articles to ensure that this information is on English Wikipedia, then recreate the disambiguation once I'm 100% sure it meets the guidelines you've sent me. Thanks for sharing this information with me, I hope I'm able to apply it to better contribute in the future. GeneralNuisance0 (talk) 15:43, 17 July 2024 (UTC)[reply]
