Fukagawa geisha

[edit]

Hello - I have to ask, seeing as Wikipedia has faced this problem for the last decade - are you in any way affiliated with Fiona Graham and her okiya in Fukagawa?

We have had a number of issues regarding Conflict of Interest editing in regards to Graham's article and her involvement in the geisha community; your list of contributions, as well as your sandbox, leads me to believe that you are in some way affiliated with her.

As is evident from the Talk page of Graham's article, we have discussed this issue many times; if Graham wishes to edit her article, and if you are acting on her behalf, you need to declare yourself a conflict of interest editor and follow the correct steps, which have been laid out in detail on the aforementioned Talk page.

I hope this is clear; apologies if you are not affiliated with her. However, even if you are not, Wikipedia has strong policies on promotional content, and a lack of affiliation does not mean that edits unduly promoting or massaging Graham's interest in her activities in Fukagawa will not be removed. --Ineffablebookkeeper (talk) 10:54, 17 February 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Oh I don't think there's ANY question there's a COI here at a minimum. Almost certainly a financial relationship as well. Is it Graham? Quite possibly. Ravensfire (talk) 04:48, 26 February 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Your thread has been archived

Hi Geicraftor! The thread you created at the Wikipedia:Teahouse, This section on this person's page is a bit too overt, has been archived because there was no discussion for a few days (usually at least two days, and sometimes four or more). You can still find the archived discussion here. If you have any additional questions that weren't answered then, please feel free to create a new thread.

The archival was done by Lowercase sigmabot III, and this notification was delivered by Muninnbot, both automated accounts. You can opt out of future notifications by placing {{bots|deny=Muninnbot}} here on your user talk page. Muninnbot (talk) 19:00, 20 February 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Vivendi Village moved to draftspace

[edit]

An article you recently created, Vivendi Village, is not suitable as written to remain published. It needs more citations from reliable, independent sources. (?) Information that can't be referenced should be removed (verifiability is of central importance on Wikipedia). I've moved your draft to draftspace (with a prefix of "Draft:" before the article title) where you can incubate the article with minimal disruption. When you feel the article meets Wikipedia's general notability guideline and thus is ready for mainspace, please click on the "Submit your draft for review!" button at the top of the page. Information icon Hello, Geicraftor. We welcome your contributions, but if you have an external relationship with the people, places or things you have written about in the page Fukagawa Geisha, you may have a conflict of interest (COI). Fans of artists exist on both sides of the spectrum. Beyond this, I have on conflict of interest to disclose. Geicraftor (talk) 03:56, 1 March 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Copying from existing articles

[edit]

Please read over WP:COPYWITHIN as it covers some required attribution needed when you copy text from an existing article into a new article. Review that page and please make the needed attributions on the new article you've created. Thanks. Ravensfire (talk) 14:16, 5 March 2021 (UTC)[reply]

I have to agree with Ravensfire on this. You have to add attribution when adding text from another article. I do that all the time on pages, as I'm always moving content around. Its not that hard to do. --Historyday01 (talk) 15:42, 9 March 2021 (UTC)[reply]
