Please bear these points in mind while editing Wikipedia:
- Respect copyrights – do not copy and paste text or images directly from other websites.
- Maintain a neutral point of view – this is one of Wikipedia's core policies.
- Take particular care while adding biographical material about a living person to any Wikipedia page and follow Wikipedia's Biography of Living Persons policy. Particularly, controversial and negative statements should be referenced with multiple reliable sources.
- No edit warring or abuse of multiple accounts.
- If you are testing, please use the Sandbox to do so.
- Do not add troublesome content to any article, such as: copyrighted text, libel, advertising or promotional messages, and text that is not related to an article's subject; doing so will result in your account or IP being blocked from editing.
- Do not use talk pages as discussion or forum pages as Wikipedia is not a forum.
The Wikipedia tutorial is a good place to start learning about Wikipedia. If you have any questions, see the help pages, add a question to the village pump or ask me on my talk page. By the way, you can sign your name on Talk and discussion pages using four tildes, like this: ~~~~ (the software will replace them with your signature and the date). Again, welcome! [edit]Hello, I'm Serols. I wanted to let you know that I reverted one of your recent contributions —specifically this edit to Beheading of Bhausaheb Maruti Talekar— because it did not appear constructive. If you would like to experiment, please use the sandbox. If you have any questions, you can ask for assistance at the Help desk. Thanks. Serols (talk) 07:34, 21 July 2019 (UTC)
Please refrain from making unconstructive edits to Wikipedia, as you did with this edit to Beheading of Bhausaheb Maruti Talekar. Your edits appear to be vandalism and have been reverted or removed. If you would like to experiment, please use the sandbox. Repeated vandalism can result in the loss of editing privileges. Thank you. Serols (talk) 07:36, 21 July 2019 (UTC)
- Ge-Sandy, when an edit is revered, you need to open a discussion at the talk page of the article and discuss your edit with the other involved editors. Repeatedly reinstating your content is considered WP:Edit warring and it can lead to you getting blocked.
- Also, a comment like "
Such articles should not be published on Wikipedia. It's a free enclyopedia that deals with historical events, defence, politics etc but is not meant for such articles that creates a felling of disgust. See I respect the martyr but try to understand
" is not appropriate. Wikipedia is a public resource and you cannot unilaterally decide what should be or should not be on it. Any topic that is supported by reliable sources can be present on Wikipedia. Once again, if you do not believe an article should not exist, the first step is to initiate a discussion on the talk page. - Serols, I am unimpressed with the warning messages you have given above, because they do not actually indicate what was wrong with the edits concerned. Neither do they explain what your objection to them is. This counts as WP:Biting newbies. -- Kautilya3 (talk) 09:24, 21 July 2019 (UTC)
- Hello Kautilya3, deletions of entire sections is vandalism, and all were without comment. Regards --Serols (talk) 14:09, 21 July 2019 (UTC)
