[edit]Welcome to Wikipedia. Although everyone is welcome to contribute to the encyclopedia, one or more of the external links you added to the page Girl group do not comply with our guidelines for external links and have been removed. Wikipedia is not a collection of links; nor should it be used as a platform for advertising or promotion, and doing so is contrary to the goals of this project. Because Wikipedia uses nofollow tags, external links do not alter search engine rankings. If you feel the link should be added to the article, please discuss it on the article's talk page before reinserting it. Please take a look at the welcome page to learn more about contributing to this encyclopedia. Thank you. Ridernyc (talk) 06:19, 5 March 2010 (UTC)
This is the only warning you will receive for your disruptive edits. If you vandalize Wikipedia again, as you did to Dee D. Jackson, you will be blocked from editing. Ridernyc (talk) 06:20, 5 March 2010 (UTC)

Request reason:
I did not add any advertising links to any page, and I do not understand why you consider a link to The Girl Groups Fan Club http://surf.to/girlgroups which is my collection of photo galleries to the "Girl Group" Wikipedia page as advertising. I have read the regulations and it says that links should not be placed to Fan Clubs, but the name of my site being "Fan Club" is a misnomer since it is really a collection of photo galleries for girl groups. I cannot contact Jclemens who permanently blocked me to ask him to explain what I did wrong because he does not allow email. Furthermore I did not vandalize the Dee D. Jackson page. I just added my link to my Dee D. Jackson Photo Gallery at http://surf.to/deedjackson so I do not know what is wrong with that. I noticed a link that is connected to a geocities website on there and geocities is no longer in existence. It is still on there. I did not mean to vandalize anything, and do not understand what he thinks I did specifically. Please understand that any of the actions I did wrong were not intentional, and I wish to be unblocked and given another chance. I will not insert any links that you tell me not to. I was just trying to be helpful and relevant. Since it was a misunderstanding, I wish to be unblocked. Thank you for your time and consideration.
Decline reason:
No additional review required. The link is clearly spam, and will not be accepted. There has been no "misunderstanding" by administrators, the only miunderstanding is the belief that the link is acceptable on Wikipedia. As such, the unblock request does not address the issues. If you want to make any further unblock requests, please read the guide to appealing blocks first, then use the {{unblock}} template again. If you make too many unconvincing or disruptive unblock requests, you may be prevented from editing this page until your block has expired. Do not remove this unblock review while you are blocked.

Addressing the issues the best I can, can you please explain to me why the link is clearly spam and not acceptable on Wikipedia? Furthermore on the Dee D. Jackson page, I did not add nor remove any link in a deliberate attempt to compromise the integrity of Wikipedia. I made a good-faith effort to improve the encyclopedia by adding my link http://surf.to/deedjackson. Would it be acceptable I use the direct link: http://girlgroups.isgreat.org/deedjackson ? Furthermore I know that used the forwarding URL http://surf.to/girlgroups, but if I used the direct URL http://girlgroups.isgreat.org would the link be acceptable on the article girlgroup? Is that the problem? If not, please explain to me because I cannot figure it out. Why was my action on the Dee D. Jackson page considered vandalism? Why was adding the link on the girlgroup page considered spamming/advertising? I would appreciate your time to explain this so I can understand it. Thank you.
Decline reason:
Under the conflict of interest guidelines, we all try to avoid adding links to our own web sites to Wikipedia. In addition, an account that exists solely to add such links to Wikipedia is in violation of our spam guidelines, regardless of the merits of the site. If your site is truly the best source of information on a topic, it is inevitable that other users will cite it when they use it to add information to the encyclopedia. Since you don't seem to have any interest in making any other kinds of edits, unblocking does not seem necessary at this time. FisherQueen (talk · contribs) 20:21, 8 March 2010 (UTC)
