Napoleonic Fiction
[edit]Hello.
I have seen that you are keen to add Sharpe's Challenge onto the Sharpe page. This is a good idea and if you have any ideas on how to structure it then they are welcome. Either post them to me at Ethers or put them on the Sharpe discussion page.
If you are interested in Sharpe and want to make a more user friendly wikiproject for it, then come to the Napoleonic Fiction Wikiproject Thanks Ethers [talk]
Pott Shrigley
[edit]I've dug some shots of the ground out if you still want them. They're at User:Gareth_Owen/MyPhotos/pott -- GWO
- Thanks - found them! Gavinio
Please Unlblock me
[edit]{unblock|I've been blocked because someone else on my IP address has been spoofing stuff or something. Nothing to do with me whatsoever - and I'd appreciate being unblocked. I'd be very suprised if it actually is someone on my IP - there are only 3 of us here, and none of us are User:Nookdog. Thanks.}
What's the IP? --Pilotguy (roger that) 18:37, 25 July 2006 (UTC)
- Er - it appears I've magically been unblocked - I sent a message to the guy who blocked me, and now it's gone. Wierd. Thanks for taking an interest though Mr Pilotguy!--Gavinio 08:49, 26 July 2006 (UTC)
Can you add Brian Lara Images
[edit]Please, can you or your contacts put a picture/s of this great man that does not violate copyright issues? Brian Lara Wikipedia page requires pictures of him -- a portrait image and some cricketing images. Thanks 130.194.5.130 00:42, 28 January 2007 (UTC)

AfD nomination of Justin Moorhouse
[edit]Justin Moorhouse, an article you created, has been nominated for deletion. We appreciate your contributions. However, an editor does not feel that Justin Moorhouse satisfies Wikipedia's criteria for inclusion and has explained why in the nomination space (see also "What Wikipedia is not" and the Wikipedia deletion policy). Your opinions on the matter are welcome; please participate in the discussion by adding your comments at Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Justin Moorhouse and please be sure to sign your comments with four tildes (~~~~). You are free to edit the content of Justin Moorhouse during the discussion but should not remove the articles for deletion template from the top of the article; such removal will not end the deletion discussion. Thank you. Deiz talk 17:04, 1 September 2007 (UTC)

2010 FIFA World Cup squads
[edit]As far as the world cup is concerned, transfers take place after the tournament ends. So if player x was playing for team y of country z and he transfered to team a of country b, FIFA shows him as x in y. You may want to undo your change based on that information. --Walter Görlitz (talk) 00:54, 30 June 2010 (UTC)
- It has been discussed on its talk page or edit history. No citation is given. Some leagues are mid-season (MLS is one for sure) while the European and South American leagues are through for the season. --Walter Görlitz (talk) 01:32, 30 June 2010 (UTC)
- However the transfer window re-opens on July 1st - that's the point. So yes, players cannot change in Europe until 1st July, but that is still within the tournament.
