There's no direct promotional or advertisal words in the page its just a profile about an Arab guy who's a writer and got many sites talking about him...are you deleting this out of racism or what exactly??? Because i see no other reason. Gatewoodandresye (talk) 19:57, 24 July 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Hi Gatewoodandresye, I am editor who declined your initial submission and debated the requesting deletion but chose to give you guidance which you did not follow. Another editor chose to request deletion and an admin reviewed that request and agreed. To say any of us are racist is a personal attack which can lead to you being blocked so I suggest retracting that statement. Since it has been deleted, I no longer have access to it but I can say from memory it read like a social media profile rather than an encyclopedia article. It clear you have not taken the time to read any of the material provided. What he has written or said is meaningless from a notability perspective. What is needed are reliable sources that are independent of him and have written in-depth about him or his work. For example, if three mainstream publications (such as newspapers or magazines) have devoted articles about him (not interviews or the like), that would meet notability and the draft should simply summarize what those publications wrote.
