Stuart tank edit
[edit]My sense is that a peacetime use of a single modified tank by one guy is non-notable in the context of an article about a tank that was produced in the thousands and used by many armies on six continents. If you have info that this was a widespread practice (with references), then it might be notable. If it's one or a few guys I think it is trivia that doesn't belong. So I have no idea where you might post that info, but certainly not in the Stuart tank article. Regards, DMorpheus (talk) 12:30, 29 May 2008 (UTC)
I might add - your edit may be inaccurate. The Stuart did not have a 'rotary' engine, at least not the way it came out of the factory. 'Rotary' and 'radial' are very different designs. regards, DMorpheus (talk) 15:10, 29 May 2008 (UTC)
I accept your view on the issue of not being widespread practice and therefore not as weighty as the other aspects of the Stuart tank article. On the other hand, its inclusion may be the embryo to bring out what happened to the thousands of vehicles produced, even if was only to make some scrap metal dealer rich. Maybe you have some clue of what happened to these vehicles after their military use. Gamagr (talk) 03:01, 1 June 2008 (UTC)
