[edit]In order to have its own article, a particular topic needs to meet the criteria that are given here, i.e. it needs to have significant coverage by reliable, independent sources. Even academic papers that are very important in their own field usually don't need a separate article of their own, so unless evidence can be provided that the relevant dissertation has received significant independent coverage it is unlikely to merit an article. --Tyrannus Mundi (talk) 17:35, 11 May 2012 (UTC)
