Notables and reliable sources

[edit]

Wikipedia requires that material added to an article, as you have done at Long Branch, New Jersey, must be supported by reliable and verifiable sources. Wikipedia can't be used to support itself by mentioning the original article in a reference and the sources must be independent ones from newspapers, magazines or books. I will be happy to reformat the reference, though the Long Branch article includes many examples that can easily be adapted. When referencing the article title, us the title that appears above the article itself (in this most recent case [[June Clark (musician)]]) and not [[Algeria Junius "June" Clark]], which is the name for the individual). In this case I was able to figure out the correct title and add the appropriate sources, but please review these policies for any future edits. Feel free to contact me on my talk page with any questions. Alansohn (talk) 17:45, 7 July 2011 (UTC) Thank you for your guidance Gallant4 (talk) 06:40, 12 November 2011 (UTC) 11/11/2011[reply]
