Hey man, I split this out into a separate article, basically taking JH's "history in a nutshell" and paraphrasing it. Could you take a look? Feel free to do some addition/cleanup. I'm convinced I've reworded it enough for it not to be a copyvio, but still, more information is good :) - FrancisTyers 15:28, 25 April 2006 (UTC)
- Hey Francis! Looks great. John Hutchins personally okayed using his article in Wikipedia. I'll take a closer look at it ASAP. I'ld probably expand a bit about Descartes, because his proposal for assigning a universal cypher is a base of N-gram / interlingua concept.
- There is a lot of talks about combining MT and TM in the recent years as well. BTW: I noticed that the [main Machine translation article] was edited by no less than John Chandioux - the project leader of METEO. - Galilite 00:46, 26 April 2006 (UTC)

English help
[edit]Heyo,
I'm in the midst of a mediation where I believe there might be a misunderstanding of the English language.
Since you're registered as able to contribute on a pro. level of English [1] I figured I'll ask your input on the situation.
Start here and explore the page from there. [2]

Speedy deletion nomination of Aspect Software
[edit]Hello Galilite,
I wanted to let you know that I just tagged Aspect Software for deletion, because it doesn't appear to contain any encyclopedic content. Take a look at our suggestions for essential content in short articles to learn what should be included.
If you feel that the article shouldn't be deleted and want more time to work on it, you can contest this deletion, but please don't remove the speedy deletion tag from the top.
You can leave a note on my talk page if you have questions.
TonyBallioni (talk) 22:50, 13 June 2017 (UTC)
- Hi, I saw you posted on the talk page. The issue was that this page contained no content other than the translation template. Even if it had been a foreign language text copied into the English Wikipedia, it would have been deleted under CSD A2. All pages created in the English Wikipedia generally should be in English. Putting the "content that could be translated" message lets people know more content on another Wikipedia could be used to expand the article. TonyBallioni (talk) 03:08, 15 June 2017 (UTC)
You can remove this notice at any time by removing the {{Talkback}} or {{Tb}} template.

[edit]Thank you for your edit to the disambiguation page Eric Davis. However, please note that disambiguation pages are not articles; rather, they are meant to help readers find a specific article quickly and easily. From the disambiguation dos and don'ts, you should:
- Only list articles that readers might reasonably be looking for
- Use short sentence fragment descriptions, with no punctuation at the end
- Use exactly one navigable link ("blue link") in each entry
- Only add a "red link" if used in existing articles, and include a "blue link" to an appropriate article
- Do not pipe links (unless style requires it) – keep the full title of the article visible
- Do not insert external links or references
Thank you. –LaundryPizza03 (dc̄) 04:42, 6 September 2021 (UTC)
