February 2024

[edit]

Information icon Hello, I'm Swatjester. I noticed that you added or changed content in an article, TAI TF Kaan, but you didn't provide a reliable source. It's been removed and archived in the page history for now, but if you'd like to include a citation and re-add it, please do so. You can have a look at referencing for beginners. If you think I made a mistake, you can leave me a message on my talk page. The dates indicated by the given source begin with 2030. If you wish to change it to 2028, you'll need to provide a citation to a reliable source. SWATJester Shoot Blues, Tell VileRat! 23:51, 23 February 2024 (UTC)[reply]

As an additional note, I've reverted the nationalistic and religious-based insults you left on the talk page. That was an extreme violation of our rules on civility and against attacking other editors. Wikipedia is not the place for you to fight your off-wiki battles. Do not do that again, or you will be immediately blocked from editing without further warning. SWATJester Shoot Blues, Tell VileRat! 00:31, 24 February 2024 (UTC)[reply]
Thanks for warning. Gajlsi (talk) 12:38, 24 February 2024 (UTC)[reply]
Nope You are coping and you are racist one. Gajlsi (talk) 16:57, 24 February 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Information icon Please do not attack other editors. Comment on content, not on contributors. Personal attacks damage the community and deter users. Please stay cool and keep this in mind while editing. Please do not attack others. It is harmful, and you can get blocked if you persist. Please review this helpful page. Stop icon with clock
You have been blocked from editing for a period of 72 hours for making personal attacks towards other editors. Once the block has expired, you are welcome to make useful contributions.
If you think there are good reasons for being unblocked, please review Wikipedia's guide to appealing blocks, then add the following text to the bottom of your talk page: {{unblock|reason=Your reason here ~~~~}}.  SWATJester Shoot Blues, Tell VileRat! 20:45, 24 February 2024 (UTC)[reply]
I have not attacked anyone Gajlsi (talk) 21:07, 24 February 2024 (UTC)[reply]
You did so here, which I warned you about and you acknowledged, then continued to make inappropriate nationalist edits, then began accusing people of racism multiple times. Based on this behavior, I strongly considered indefinitely blocking you from the project as you do not appear to be here for the right reasons; however as this behavior is distinctly different than your editing practice prior to two days ago, I made it a temporary block instead. Given your inability to take responsibility for your actions, perhaps that was a mistake. I'd strongly, strongly recommend you take this enforced timeout to review our policies on civility, personal attacks, and disruptive editing if you wish to continue here in the future.SWATJester Shoot Blues, Tell VileRat! 22:12, 24 February 2024 (UTC)[reply]
Got it. I will do my edits in appropriate way. Thank you for warning. Gajlsi (talk) 01:03, 25 February 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Information icon Please do not attack other editors, as you did at Fifth-generation fighter‎. Comment on content, not on contributors. Personal attacks damage the community and deter users. Please stay cool and keep this in mind while editing. I see that you have already be blocked for personal attacks. If you continue in that path, the next block will be longer or even permanent. February 2024 again

[edit]

Please do not WP:EDITWAR with other editors by constantly restoring material which has been deleted. You should discuss your edit on the article talk page, to obtain a consensus decision, before restoring it. For some advice on this, see WP:BRD. If you persist, then sanctions may be taken against you again. — Cheers, Steelpillow (Talk) 17:40, 1 March 2024 (UTC)[reply]

You are the one constantly attacking me Gajlsi (talk) 16:03, 7 March 2024 (UTC)[reply]

April 2024

[edit]

Information icon Please refrain from making unconstructive edits to Wikipedia, as you did at Byzantine–Seljuk wars. Your edits appear to be disruptive and have been or will be reverted.

Please ensure you are familiar with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines, and please do not continue to make edits that appear disruptive. Continued disruptive editing may result in loss of editing privileges. Thank you. Demetrios1993 (talk) 04:03, 7 April 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Introduction to contentious topics

[edit]

You have recently edited a page related to the Troubles, a topic designated as contentious. This is a brief introduction to contentious topics and does not imply that there are any issues with your editing.

A special set of rules applies to certain topic areas, which are referred to as contentious topics. These are specially designated topics that tend to attract more persistent disruptive editing than the rest of the project and have been designated as contentious topics by the Arbitration Committee. When editing a contentious topic, Wikipedia’s norms and policies are more strictly enforced, and Wikipedia administrators have special powers in order to reduce disruption to the project.

Within contentious topics, editors should edit carefully and constructively, refrain from disrupting the encyclopedia, and:

  • adhere to the purposes of Wikipedia;
  • comply with all applicable policies and guidelines;
  • follow editorial and behavioural best practice;
  • comply with any page restrictions in force within the area of conflict; and
  • refrain from gaming the system.

Additionally you are not allowed to make more than 1 revert within 24 hours on a page within this topic.

Editors are advised to err on the side of caution if unsure whether making a particular edit is consistent with these expectations. If you have any questions about contentious topics procedures you may ask them at the arbitration clerks' noticeboard or you may learn more about this contentious topic here. You may also choose to note which contentious topics you know about by using the {{Ctopics/aware}} template.

Please note that, as detailed at Talk:Great Famine (Ireland), editors are not permitted to revert more than once in a 24-hour period. You have performed three reverts in under 2 hours. Therefore, you are in breach of the editing restrictions and must undo your last revert. DrKay (talk) 09:10, 18 May 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Information icon Thank you for trying to keep Wikipedia free of vandalism. However, one or more edits you labeled as vandalism, such as the edit at Great Famine (Ireland), are not considered vandalism under Wikipedia policy. Wikipedia has a stricter definition of the word "vandalism" than common usage, and mislabeling edits as vandalism can discourage editors. Please see what is not vandalism for more information on what is and is not considered vandalism. Thank you. Please note that you have been warned and blocked before for incivility. See Wikipedia:Civility#Identifying incivility: "referring to a user's good-faith edits as vandalism may lead to them feeling unfairly attacked." DrKay (talk) 09:13, 18 May 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Notice of edit warring noticeboard discussion

[edit]

Information icon Hello. This message is being sent to inform you that there is currently a discussion involving you at Wikipedia:Administrators' noticeboard/Edit warring regarding a possible violation of Wikipedia's policy on edit warring. The thread is Wikipedia:Administrators' noticeboard/Edit warring#User:Gajlsi reported by User:Demetrios1993 (Result: ). Thank you. Demetrios1993 (talk) 04:26, 19 May 2024 (UTC)[reply]

June 2024

[edit]

You currently appear to be engaged in an edit war according to the reverts you have made on Crusade of 1101. This means that you are repeatedly changing content back to how you think it should be although other editors disagree. Users are expected to collaborate with others, to avoid editing disruptively, and to try to reach a consensus, rather than repeatedly undoing other users' edits once it is known that there is a disagreement.

Points to note:

  1. Edit warring is disruptive regardless of how many reverts you have made;
  2. Do not edit war even if you believe you are right.

If you find yourself in an editing dispute, use the article's talk page to discuss controversial changes and work towards a version that represents consensus among editors. You can post a request for help at an appropriate noticeboard or seek dispute resolution. In some cases, it may be appropriate to request temporary page protection. If you engage in an edit war, you may be blocked from editing. I would also note that you have been previously warned about edit-warring. R Prazeres (talk) 23:21, 15 June 2024 (UTC)[reply]

There is no edit war but editors are the ones who are creating in it. Atabegate is the title of Ridwan of Aleppo not Emirate. Gajlsi (talk) 16:17, 16 June 2024 (UTC)[reply]
