Non-free images

[edit]

Hi, several of the images that you have uploaded to Commons have been deleted or nominated as copyright violations. You should be aware that you can often upload photographs of dead people to illustrate their Wikipedia articles as non-free Wikipedia files, see Wikipedia:Non-free content. You need to write a non-free image rationale for each image, see Wikipedia:FURG. You could use an existing image as a model for your rationale, possible one of the files that I have uploaded, which are listed here. I have also reverted a few of your Wikipedia edits, please ask me if you have any questions. Regards, Verbcatcher (talk) 05:51, 28 February 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Welcome

[edit]

Hello Gahcdh and welcome to Wikipedia! We appreciate encyclopedic contributions, but some of your contributions, such as the ones to Frank Loesser, do not conform to our policies. For more information on this, see Wikipedia's policies on vandalism and limits on acceptable additions. If you'd like to experiment with the wiki's syntax, please do so in the sandbox (but beware that the contents of the sandbox are deleted frequently) rather than in articles.

If you still have questions, there is a new contributors' help page, or you can click here to ask for help on your talk page, and a volunteer should respond shortly. You may also find the following pages useful for a general introduction to Wikipedia.

I hope you enjoy editing and being a Wikipedian! Please sign your name on talk pages using four tildes (~~~~); this will automatically produce your name and the date. Feel free to write a note on the bottom of my talk page if you want to get in touch with me. Again, welcome! HeartGlow30797 (talk) 04:36, 1 March 2020 (UTC)[reply]

[edit]

Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. An automated process has detected that when you recently edited Sweeney Todd, you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page English (check to confirm | fix with Dab solver). Such links are usually incorrect, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of unrelated topics with similar titles. (Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.)

ArbCom 2020 Elections voter message

[edit]
Hello! Voting in the 2020 Arbitration Committee elections is now open until 23:59 (UTC) on Monday, 7 December 2020. All eligible users are allowed to vote. Users with alternate accounts may only vote once.

The Arbitration Committee is the panel of editors responsible for conducting the Wikipedia arbitration process. It has the authority to impose binding solutions to disputes between editors, primarily for serious conduct disputes the community has been unable to resolve. This includes the authority to impose site bans, topic bans, editing restrictions, and other measures needed to maintain our editing environment. The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail.

If you wish to participate in the 2020 election, please review the candidates and submit your choices on the voting page. If you no longer wish to receive these messages, you may add {{NoACEMM}} to your user talk page. MediaWiki message delivery (talk) 03:03, 24 November 2020 (UTC)[reply]
