[edit]Welcome to Wikipedia. Although everyone is welcome to contribute constructively to the encyclopedia, one or more of the external links you added such as to the page Gran Turismo 5 do not comply with our guidelines for external links and have been removed. Wikipedia is not a collection of links; nor should it be used for advertising or promotion, and doing so is contrary to the goals of this project. Since Wikipedia uses nofollow tags, external links do not alter search engine rankings. If you feel the link should be added to the article, please discuss it on the article's talk page before reinserting it. Please take a look at the welcome page to learn more about contributing to this encyclopedia. Thank you. Chimpanzee - User | Talk | Contribs 19:14, 8 August 2009 (UTC)
Please do not add inappropriate external links to Wikipedia. Wikipedia is not a collection of links, nor should it be used for advertising or promotion. Inappropriate links include (but are not limited to) links to personal web sites, links to web sites with which you are affiliated, and links that attract visitors to a web site or promote a product. See the external links guideline and spam guideline for further explanations. Since Wikipedia uses the nofollow attribute value, its external links are disregarded by some search engines, including Google. If you feel the link should be added to the article, please discuss it on the article's talk page rather than re-adding it. Thank you. Oscarthecat (talk) 21:42, 8 August 2009 (UTC)
This is the last warning you will receive for your disruptive edits. The next time you insert a spam link, you will be blocked from editing Wikipedia. Persistent spammers may have their websites blacklisted preventing anyone from linking to them from all Wikimedia sites as well as potentially being penalized by search engines. suppression des liens des sites GT5P Français
[edit]Bonjour,

- Hello. Firstly, please communicate in English on en.wikipedia.org. Google has translated your comment to the following:
“ | Hello,
Sorry I did not think it could be taken as a collection of links. I was that what seemed fair. The site of GT5net (gturismo5.net) is not more formal than ours. So I thought I could add the links of the most active time in the same way as the GT5net. I did that for informational purposes. If I had the intention to promote my site, I would put that of the GT club. But I put all the French active forums at the moment! I am very disappointed with the reaction that this may cause. As against that our links are not accepted I would ask you to also remove the links and references that point to the sites and forums GT5net, this goal of equity in total. Should therefore remain as links to the official Sony PlayStation forums. Thank you for your presentation and hope that you choose for opening. |

- So in response to that: All links to community sites have now been removed from the Gran Turismo 5 and GT5P articles. I can't speak for other editors but I'm sure that the only reason the other links were there is because no one had noticed them. Links to fansites are rarely appropriate so if you see any others against the guidelines for external links, please feel free to remove them. Thank you for your answer
You tell me that All links to community sites have now been removed from the Gran Turismo 5 and GT5P articles But there is always the link GT5net here :
http://fr.wikipedia.org/wiki/Gran_Turismo_5
Best regards
- The page you linked to is on the French Wikipedia. This (the page we are talking on now) is on the English Wikipedia. All links to fansites have been removed from http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Gran_Turismo_5 and http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Gran_Turismo_5_Prologue. I'd imagine policies are the same on French Wikipedia but you should ask questions regarding the French article on this page. Chimpanzee - User | Talk | Contribs 13:46, 10 August 2009 (UTC)
