This is an automated message from CorenSearchBot. I have performed a web search with the contents of Being Nikki, and it appears to include a substantial copy of http://www.megcabot.com/airhead/airhead2.php. For legal reasons, we cannot accept copyrighted text or images borrowed from other web sites or printed material; such additions will be deleted. You may use external websites as a source of information, but not as a source of sentences. See our copyright policy for further details.

This message was placed automatically, and it is possible that the bot is confused and found similarity where none actually exists. If that is the case, you can remove the tag from the article and it would be appreciated if you could drop a note on the maintainer's talk page. CorenSearchBot (talk) 18:32, 10 May 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Thank you for uploading File:Rebecca.jpg. However, it currently is missing information on its copyright status. Wikipedia takes copyright very seriously. It may be deleted soon, unless we can determine the license and the source of the file. If you know this information, then you can add a copyright tag to the image description page.

If you have uploaded other files, consider checking that you have specified their license and tagged them, too. You can find a list of files you have uploaded by following this link.

[edit]

Hello. Concerning your upload of the image File:Chuck bass.jpg, please note that Wikipedia cannot accept copyrighted images obtained from other sources, without the permission of the author(s). This image appears to be a direct copy from many places on the internet. As a copyright violation, File:Chuck bass.jpg falls under the speedy deletion criteria and has been deleted.

If you believe that the image is not a copyright violation, or if you have permission from the copyright holder to release the content freely under a free license then you should do one of the following:
  • If you have permission from the author, leave me a message explaining the details and send an email with the message to "permissions-en (at) wikimedia (dot) org". See Wikipedia:Requesting copyright permission for instructions.
  • If a note on the original website states that re-use is permitted under the <pick a free licence> or released into the public domain leave me a message at my talk page with a link to where I can find that note.
  • If you hold the copyright to the material: send an e-mail from an address associated with the original publication to permissions-en(at)wikimedia(dot)org or a postal message to the Wikimedia Foundation permitting re-use under the GFDL, and note that you have done so on [[Talk:File:Chuck bass.jpg]].
  • Or alternately drop me a note about this file if I have misunderstood something.

Infoboxes

[edit]

Thank you for your recent contributions to soap opera-related articles. However, you should be aware that adding notes like "lovers" is unnecessary and just clutters the infoboxes, and these names display next to the heading "Romances" (similarly, there is no reason to note "father" or "sister" since the headings are "Parents" and "Siblings"). You may want to familiarize yourself with some of the usage notes at {{Infobox soap character}} as well as the style guidelines at Wikipedia:WikiProject Soap Operas#Style_guidelines. Thanks again. — TAnthonyTalk 03:15, 30 May 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Hi there ... I'm asking you again to read and follow guidelines regarding infoboxes. Adding "father" and "mother" next to names in the "Parents" section is redundant, unnecessary, and just adds more cltter to the box. Per the guidelines, extra qualifiers like this are only necessary when specifying special situations like "step-father" or "half-sister." Thanks for your cooperation on this.— TAnthonyTalk 23:48, 9 June 2009 (UTC)[reply]

A tag has been placed on Scarlett Byrne requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section A7 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the article appears to be about a person or group of people, but it does not indicate how or why the subject is important or significant: that is, why an article about that subject should be included in an encyclopedia. Under the criteria for speedy deletion, such articles may be deleted at any time. Please see the guidelines for what is generally accepted as notable, as well as our subject-specific notability guideline for biographies.

If you think that this notice was placed here in error, you may contest the deletion by adding {{hangon}} to the top of the page that has been nominated for deletion (just below the existing speedy deletion or "db" tag), coupled with adding a note on the talk page explaining your position, but be aware that once tagged for speedy deletion, if the page meets the criterion it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but don't hesitate to add information to the page that would render it more in conformance with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. Lastly, please note that if the page does get deleted, you can contact one of these admins to request that they userfy the page or have a copy emailed to you. -- Collectonian (talk · contribs) 03:41, 8 June 2009 (UTC)[reply]

File Copyright problem

Thanks for uploading File:Kate roberts 6.jpg. I noticed that the file's description page currently doesn't specify who created the content, so the copyright status is unclear. If you did not create this file yourself, you will need to specify the owner of the copyright. If you obtained it from a website, then a link to the website from which it was taken, together with a restatement of that website's terms of use of its content, is usually sufficient information. However, if the copyright holder is different from the website's publisher, their copyright should also be acknowledged.

If you have uploaded other files, consider checking that you have specified their source and tagged them, too. You can find a list of files you have uploaded by following this link. Unsourced and untagged images may be deleted one week after they have been tagged, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If the image is copyrighted under a non-free license (per Wikipedia:Fair use) then the image will be deleted 48 hours after 20:04, 12 June 2009 (UTC). If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you. (ESkog)(Talk) 20:04, 12 June 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Image use

[edit]

Not that you acknowledge any comments directed at you but ... Fair use (non-free) images are considered replaceable for identifying living people, per Wikipedia:Non-free content#Unacceptable use, Images - Item 12. So though you may use a limited number of copyrighted images in character articles, you cannot use them in biographical articles for the actresses, as you did in Lexi Ainsworth and Lauren Koslow. For living people we must use free images that you or someone else takes and release the rights for use on Wikipedia. Also, as you see from the many automated tags above, you are uploading images incorrectly, and not using fair use rationales or copyright tags (even though the upload process makes this easy for you). Please learn more about uploading images before you do so again, because excessive uploading of improperly licensed images can result in a block of your editing privileges. Welcome to Wikipedia. Although everyone is welcome to contribute constructively to the encyclopedia, adding content without citing a reliable source, as you did to Anna Maria Perez de Taglé, is not consistent with our policy of verifiability.
