Request reason:

I understand that i have created a post in the wrong place, but i believe an indefinite block for that is absurd. i understand i can play around in the sandbox and i wont make any other foolish pages just for fun. please unblock me

The issue is not that you made a post in the wrong place, the issue is that you created a nonsense draft and there was no other indication that you would make productive contributions to the encyclopedia. Sandboxes are for experimentation, but that is in the context of experimentation intended to work on editing skills so you can make productive edits to the encyclopedia. It's been a year and a half, and a second chance is certainly possible here, but we won't unblock you to just fool around in your sandbox. Request reason:

I want to make smaller edits to pages which have inaccuracies and perhaps add some information to them as well. I dont have much of a plan yet but all i can do is view pages at the moment. I do want to experiment in the sandbox to see how this all works, as i am quite new. after i get the hang of it i definitely also want to help information on topics i care about be as accurate as they can be.

Place your cursor in the edit summary box and paste there an edit summary in the following form which specifies the name of the article you copied from and links to it (this is required for mandatory copyright attribution): "Copied content from [[exact Name of Article]]; see that article's history for attribution."
5. You can now save the page. However, if your edits will include any citations to reliable sources (which they should), add the following template to the end of your prose: {{reflist-talk}}. Once you have added the template, click Publish changes.
Now, edit that content. Propose significant and well researched improvements by editing the selected portion of the article. Please note that we are not looking for basic typo corrections, or small unreferenced additions; your edits should be substantial, and reflect relevant policies.
When you are done with your work, re-request unblocking using {{unblock}} and an administrator will review your proposed edits.
- If we (including the original blocking admin) are convinced that your proposed edits will hopefully improve Wikipedia as an encyclopedia, you will be unblocked.
