License tagging for Image:Akamine.jpg

[edit]

Thanks for uploading Image:Akamine.jpg. Wikipedia gets thousands of images uploaded every day, and in order to verify that the images can be legally used on Wikipedia, the source and copyright status must be indicated. Images need to have an image tag applied to the image description page indicating the copyright status of the image. This uniform and easy-to-understand method of indicating the license status allows potential re-users of the images to know what they are allowed to do with the images.

For more information on using images, see the following pages:

This is an automated notice by OrphanBot. If you need help on selecting a tag to use, or in adding the tag to the image description, feel free to post a message at Wikipedia:Media copyright questions. 00:04, 5 February 2007 (UTC)

The article needs help and the tag is designed to bring in outside help. These sorts of tags should not be removed without addressing the issue but even so it is advised that original authors leave them intact.Peter Rehse 02:35, 16 August 2007 (UTC)[reply]

My friends, just a very important detail: the page cited as being copyrighted (and plagiarised!) belonged to me! (the later www.geocities.com/tokyo/spa/5152). The Geocities services was not continued by yahoo and the page is not on-line (except for a kind of mirror in oocities). But please see that in that page (stil available at oocities... same address) it was written "page created and maintained by Gonzalo Velasco" = that's me ;-) Cheers!

Please refrain from introducing inappropriate pages, such as Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Seiko HIGA, to Wikipedia. Doing so is not in accordance with our policies. If you would like to experiment, please use the sandbox.

If you think that this notice was placed here in error, you may contest the deletion by adding {{hang on}} to the top of the page that has been nominated for deletion (just below the existing speedy deletion, or "db", tag; if no such tag exists, then the page is no longer a speedy delete candidate and adding a hang-on tag is unnecessary), coupled with adding a note on the talk page explaining your position, but be aware that once tagged for speedy deletion, if the page meets the criterion, it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but don't hesitate to add information to the page that would render it more in conformance with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. Nomination of Ken-Shin-Kan for deletion

[edit]

The article Ken-Shin-Kan is being discussed concerning whether it is suitable for inclusion as an article according to Wikipedia's policies and guidelines or whether it should be deleted.

The article will be discussed at Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Ken-Shin-Kan until a consensus is reached, and anyone is welcome to contribute to the discussion. The nomination will explain the policies and guidelines which are of concern. The discussion focuses on good quality evidence, and our policies and guidelines.

Users may edit the article during the discussion, including to improve the article to address concerns raised in the discussion. However, do not remove the article-for-deletion template from the top of the article. Janggeom (talk) 14:57, 17 January 2011 (UTC)[reply]

The article Kanki Izumigawa has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:

The subject does not appear to be notable. This is also the single oldest tagged unreferenced article on the project, as the sole member of Category:Articles lacking sources from September 2006

While all contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, content or articles may be deleted for any of several reasons.

You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{proposed deletion/dated}} notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.

Please consider improving the article to address the issues raised. Removing {{proposed deletion/dated}} will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. In particular, the speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and articles for deletion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion. My friends, wikipedia is not what it was. You can delete it all... because you will do it regardless what I would say. It is your policy in the last years. Cheers!
