The article Turkey Point (Cry-Baby) has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:
- Completely unnotable fictional location and article is purely plot repetition and WP:OR. Fails WP:N.
While all contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, content or articles may be deleted for any of several reasons.
You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{dated prod}}
notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.
Please consider improving the article to address the issues raised. Removing {{dated prod}}
will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. The speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and articles for deletion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion. -- Collectonian (talk · contribs) 07:48, 6 January 2010 (UTC)
Orphaned non-free image File:LordMonarchSuperFamicomTitleScreen.png
Thanks for uploading File:LordMonarchSuperFamicomTitleScreen.png. The image description page currently specifies that the image is non-free and may only be used on Wikipedia under a claim of fair use. However, the image is currently orphaned, meaning that it is not used in any articles on Wikipedia. If the image was previously in an article, please go to the article and see why it was removed. You may add it back if you think that that will be useful. However, please note that images for which a replacement could be created are not acceptable for use on Wikipedia (see our policy for non-free media).
If you have uploaded other unlicensed media, please check whether they're used in any articles or not. You can find a list of "file" pages you have edited by clicking on the "my contributions" link (it is located at the very top of any Wikipedia page when you are logged in), and then selecting "File" from the dropdown box. Note that any non-free images not used in any articles will be deleted after seven days, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. Thank you. Skier Dude (talk) 07:38, 9 January 2010 (UTC)
Unreferenced BLPs
Hello GVnayR! Thank you for your contributions. I am a bot alerting you that 3 of the articles that you created are tagged as Unreferenced Biographies of Living Persons. The biographies of living persons policy requires that all personal or potentially controversial information be sourced. In addition, to ensure verifiability, all biographies should be based on reliable sources. If you were to bring these articles up to standards, it would greatly help us with the current 50 article backlog. Once the articles are adequately referenced, please remove the {{unreferencedBLP}} tag. Here is the list:
Masayuki Kato - Find sources: Google (books · news · scholar · free images · WP refs) · FENS · JSTOR · TWL- Work complete!!!! File copyright problem with File:BattleStormTitleScreen.png
Thank you for uploading File:BattleStormTitleScreen.png. However, it currently is missing information on its copyright status. Wikipedia takes copyright very seriously. It may be deleted soon, unless we can determine the license and the source of the file. If you know this information, then you can add a copyright tag to the image description page.
If you have uploaded other files, consider checking that you have specified their license and tagged them, too. You can find a list of files you have uploaded by following this link.
If you have any questions, please feel free to ask them at the media copyright questions page. Thanks again for your cooperation. FASTILYsock(TALK) 05:07, 27 February 2010 (UTC)

The article Cost-performance ratio has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:
- Wikipedia is not a crystal ball, so a page that exists to foretell the future is pointless. Singularity enthusiasts should not be creating definition pages lacking in encyclopedic content.
While all contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, content or articles may be deleted for any of several reasons.
You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{dated prod}}
notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.
Please consider improving the article to address the issues raised. Removing {{dated prod}}

Please do not add original research or novel syntheses of previously published material to our articles as you apparently did to In vitro meat. Please cite a reliable source for all of your information. Thank you. Just because Kurzweil predicts it doesn't mean you should be adding it to random pages. Wikipedia is not a crystal ball and should not include speculation regarding the future. —ShadowRanger (talk|stalk) 18:07, 2 March 2010 (UTC)

All is fair with with File:Whitegrannypanties.jpg
Thanks for uploading File:Whitegrannypanties.jpg. I noticed that while you provided a valid copyright licensing tag, there is no proof that the creator of the file agreed to license it under the given license.
If you created this media entirely yourself but have previously published it elsewhere (especially online), please either
- make a note permitting reuse under the CC-BY-SA or another acceptable free license (see this list) at the site of the original publication; or
- Send an email from an address associated with the original publication to permissions-enwikimedia.org, stating your ownership of the material and your intention to publish it under a free license. You can find a sample permission letter here.
If you did not create it entirely yourself, please ask the person who created the file to take one of the two steps listed above, or if the owner of the file has already given their permission to you via email, please forward that email to permissions-enwikimedia.org.
If you believe the media meets the criteria at Wikipedia:Non-free content, use a tag such as {{non-free fair use in|article name}} or one of the other tags listed at Wikipedia:Image copyright tags#Fair use, and add a rationale justifying the file's use on the article or articles where it is included. See Wikipedia:Image copyright tags for the full list of copyright tags that you can use.
If you have uploaded other files, consider checking that you have provided evidence that their copyright owners have agreed to license their works under the tags you supplied, too. You can find a list of files you have uploaded by following this link. Files lacking evidence of permission may be deleted one week after they have been tagged, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you. feydey (talk) 14:46, 3 March 2010 (UTC)

Speedy deletion nomination of Leon Earnhardt
Please refrain from introducing inappropriate pages, such as Leon Earnhardt, to Wikipedia. Doing so is not in accordance with our policies. If you would like to experiment, please use the sandbox.
If you think that this notice was placed here in error, you may contest the deletion by adding {{hangon}}
to the top of the page that has been nominated for deletion (just below the existing speedy deletion or "db" tag), coupled with adding a note on the talk page explaining your position, but be aware that once tagged for speedy deletion, if the page meets the criterion, it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but don't hesitate to add information to the page that would render it more in conformance with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. Lastly, please note that if the page does get deleted, you can contact one of these admins to request that they userfy the page or have a copy emailed to you. —Farix (t | c) 21:55, 8 March 2010 (UTC)

Autoreviewer
Hi GVnayR, I just saw one of your articles at newpage patrol and was surprised to see that such a longterm contributor hadn't already been flagged as an wp:autoreviewer. So I've taken the liberty of fixing that. Cheers and happy editing. ϢereSpielChequers 15:56, 21 March 2010 (UTC)
- Thank you for the honor, WereSpielChequers. I didn't realize that more than four years of editing Wikipedia articles made me enough of a veteran to qualify. GVnayR (talk) 20:59, 21 March 2010 (UTC)
- I think you are way overqualified, but it has only existed since June last year, and we tend to spot people who do lots of articles in quick bursts. I've started looking for editors like you whose work is more bespoke. BTW you I noticed you do a lot of categorisation, have you tried wp:hotcat? ϢereSpielChequers 21:10, 21 March 2010 (UTC)

Life without bees
Hi, GVnayR. I think you need to add some good sources for Life without bees as fast as you can. At present all the sources cited are forums and blogs, and the article would have not chance at WP:DRV --Philcha (talk) 20:29, 30 March 2010 (UTC)
- I have added four new references that are not blogs or forums. I think you should be happy now. GVnayR (talk) 23:05, 30 March 2010 (UTC)
- It's now about what I'm happy - it's "your" article", not "mine". The source for a MP is a forums and blogs. I suggest you try to find the Sunday Post article. Ever better, google for "bee colony die collapse" and other synonyms - it's a huge issue, there's much better on the Web. Even better, search scholar.google to focus on material by good scientists and omits the blogs, etc. --Philcha (talk) 04:58, 31 March 2010 (UTC)

Recommendation about your article
If you are serious about Talk:Ecological importance of bees, please visit the wikiprojects on its talkpage which I improved. Sign up for the bee taskforce and see if they have a userbox you can place on your userpage. If you have a question, reply here and I will answer. Only good for today as I have to move on. --Morenooso (talk) 17:47, 31 March 2010 (UTC)

- By helping with some of their stub articles, you could show the project you are a sincere member who in turn wants help with your article. When I became a California Wikiproject member, I took a look at the project's page that lists stub articles needing improvement. Then I improved several and consistently do. Pick two or three that interest and that you can help flesh out with reliable sourced citations. Here is one article, Alonzo Cook, that I took from Stub class to C status that was one my project's list for improvement. --Morenooso (talk) 20:22, 31 March 2010 (UTC)
