AfD nomination of A.J. Coyle
An article you created last month, A.J. Coyle, which claims that Doyle was the inventor of instant coffee has been nominated for deletion with the suggestion that the article is a hoax. I have done some investigation of this claim but inasmuch as you created the article, your input would be very welcome at Wikipedia:Articles_for_deletion/A.J._Coyle#.5B.5BA.J._Coyle.5D.5D. Fair use rationale for Image:Ftlboysbriefs1980s.jpg
Thanks for uploading Image:Ftlboysbriefs1980s.jpg. The image description page specifies that the image is being used under fair use but there is no explanation or rationale as to why its use in Wikipedia articles constitutes fair use.
Please go to the image description page and edit it to include a fair use rationale.
If you have uploaded other fair use media, consider checking that you have specified the fair use rationale on those pages too. You can find a list of 'image' pages you have edited by clicking on the "my contributions" link (it is located at the very top of any Wikipedia page when you are logged in), and then selecting "Image" from the dropdown box. Note that any fair use images lacking such an explanation will be deleted one week after they have been uploaded, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you.

Video game articles
Hey, do you think that you could announce your new video game articles in the future here: Wikipedia:WikiProject Computer and video games/New article announcements. Thanks in advance ! JACOPLANE • 2007-01-11 13:58
- Also, you should try to include an infobox in the articles you create. Here is an automated infobox maker that should speed up the process. Cheers, JACOPLANE • 2007-01-11 14:02
I have added a "{{prod}}" template to the article Caleçon, suggesting that it be deleted according to the proposed deletion process. All contributions are appreciated, but I don't believe it satisfies Wikipedia's criteria for inclusion, and I've explained why in the deletion notice (see also "What Wikipedia is not" and Wikipedia's deletion policy). You may contest the proposed deletion by removing the {{dated prod}}
notice, but please explain why you disagree with the proposed deletion in your edit summary or on its talk page. Also, please consider improving the article to address the issues raised. Even though removing the deletion notice will prevent deletion through the proposed deletion process, the article may still be deleted if it matches any of the speedy deletion criteria or it can be sent to Articles for Deletion, where it may be deleted if consensus to delete is reached. --Elonka 04:38, 29 March 2007 (UTC)

Notability of Sonny's Animal Farm
A tag has been placed on Sonny's Animal Farm, requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done because the article appears to be about a person, group of people, band, club, company, or web content, but it does not indicate how or why the subject is notable: that is, why an article about that subject should be included in an encyclopedia. Under the criteria for speedy deletion, articles that do not assert the subject's importance or significance may be deleted at any time. Please see the guidelines for what is generally accepted as notable.
If you think that you can assert the notability of the subject, you may contest the deletion. To do this, add {{hangon}}
on the top of the page (just below the existing speedy deletion or "db" tag) and leave a note on the article's talk page explaining your position. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but don't hesitate to add information to the article that would confirm the subject's notability under Wikipedia guidelines.
For guidelines on specific types of articles, you may want to check out our criteria for biographies, for web sites, for bands, or for companies. Feel free to leave a note on my talk page if you have any questions about this. Realkyhick 03:33, 15 June 2007 (UTC)

Please remember to mark your edits as minor when (and only when) they genuinely are minor edits (see Wikipedia:Minor edit). Marking a major change as a minor one (and vice versa) is considered poor etiquette. The rule of thumb is that only an edit that consists solely of spelling corrections, formatting changes, or rearranging of text without modifying content should be flagged as a 'minor edit.' Fair use rationale for Image:IraqWar2003ComputerGameTitleScreen.jpg
Thanks for uploading or contributing to Image:IraqWar2003ComputerGameTitleScreen.jpg. I notice the image page specifies that the image is being used under fair use but there is not a suitable explanation or rationale as to why each specific use in Wikipedia constitutes fair use. You can find a list of 'image' pages you have edited by clicking on the "my contributions" link (it is located at the very top of any Wikipedia page when you are logged in), and then selecting "Image" from the dropdown box. Fair use disputed for Image:IraqWar2003ComputerGameTitleScreen.jpg
Thanks for uploading Image:IraqWar2003ComputerGameTitleScreen.jpg. However, there is a concern that the rationale you have provided for using this image under "fair use" may be invalid. Please read the instructions at Wikipedia:Non-free content carefully, then go to the image description page and clarify why you think the image qualifies for fair use. Using one of the templates at Wikipedia:Fair use rationale guideline is an easy way to ensure that your image is in compliance with Wikipedia policy, but remember that you must complete the template. Do not simply insert a blank template on an image page.
If it is determined that the image does not qualify under fair use, it will be deleted within a couple of days according to our Criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you.BetacommandBot 23:19, 13 September 2007 (UTC)

NASCAR articles
Please be careful about which race articles you create. You should create a redirect article to the main article in cases like the Miller Time 300. The race is now named the Dollar General 300, so you should redirect Miller Time 300 to Dollar General 300. So if you want to create an article about a particular race, please make sure that there is no article with a more recent name. Thanks! Royalbroil 03:02, 27 October 2007 (UTC)
Pages about fictional video game characters
Please remember that in order to establish notability you need to provide citations from reliable third party sources that explain the subject's notability. Articles about fictional drivers from race games do not belong on their own page. If it is notable, a mention on the main videogame's page will suffice. — OcatecirT 02:37, 29 October 2007 (UTC)

November 2007
Please remember to mark your edits, such as your recent edits to Booth's Harbor, Ontario, as minor if (and only if) they genuinely are minor edits (see Help:Minor edit). Marking a major change as a minor one (and vice versa) is considered poor etiquette. The rule of thumb is that only an edit that consists solely of spelling corrections, formatting changes, or rearranging of text without modifying content should be flagged as a 'minor edit.' Thank you. Please note that adding new content to an article is never a minor edit. Collectonian (talk) 16:21, 26 November 2007 (UTC)

Please remember to mark your edits, such as your recent edits to Bakushou!! Jinsei Gekijou 2, as minor if (and only if) they genuinely are minor edits (see Help:Minor edit). Marking a major change as a minor one (and vice versa) is considered poor etiquette. The rule of thumb is that only an edit that consists solely of spelling corrections, formatting changes, or rearranging of text without modifying content should be flagged as a 'minor edit.' Thank you. Again, when you add major content, including references, it is NOT a minor edit and you should not mark it as such. In addition to being discourteous to other editors, it gives the appearance that you may be trying to hide bad faith edits from the eyes of other editors who might have minor edits hidden in their watch lists. Please do not create deleted articles, even as redirects, unless they significantly improve upon the deleted version. Thankyou. BLACKKITE 11:50, 2 December 2007 (UTC)
A tag has been placed on Hispanic Racing Team, requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under the criteria for speedy deletion, because it is a very short article providing little or no context to the reader. Please see Wikipedia:Stub for our minimum information standards for short articles. Also please note that articles must be on notable subjects and should provide references to reliable sources that verify their content.
Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself. If you plan to expand the article, you can request that administrators wait a while for you to add contextual material. To do this, affix the template {{hangon}}
to the article and state your intention on the article's talk page. Feel free to leave a note on my talk page if you have any questions about this. D-Day 20:46, 3 December 2007 (UTC)

Welcome to Wikipedia. Everyone is welcome to contribute constructively to the encyclopedia. However, adding content without citing a reliable source, as you did to Pine Grove, Norfolk County, Ontario, is not consistent with our policy of verifiability. This is especially important when dealing with biographies of living people, but applies to all Wikipedia articles. Take a look at the welcome page to learn more about contributing to this encyclopedia. If you are already familiar with Wikipedia:Citing sources please take this opportunity to add your original reference to the article. Thank you. Collectonian (talk) 05:32, 6 December 2007 (UTC)

Orphaned non-free media (Image:DaibakushouJinseiGekijouDokidokiSeishunLongerSkirt.jpg)
Thanks for uploading Image:DaibakushouJinseiGekijouDokidokiSeishunLongerSkirt.jpg. The media description page currently specifies that it is non-free and may only be used on Wikipedia under a claim of fair use. However, it is currently orphaned, meaning that it is not used in any articles on Wikipedia. If the media was previously in an article, please go to the article and see why it was removed. You may add it back if you think that that will be useful. However, please note that media for which a replacement could be created are not acceptable for use on Wikipedia (see our policy for non-free media).
If you have uploaded other unlicensed media, please check whether they're used in any articles or not. You can find a list of 'image' pages you have edited by clicking on the "my contributions" link (it is located at the very top of any Wikipedia page when you are logged in), and then selecting "Image" from the dropdown box. Notability of Little Mommy
A tag has been placed on Little Mommy requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done because the article appears to be about a person, group of people, band, club, company, or web content, but it does not indicate how or why the subject is notable: that is, why an article about that subject should be included in an encyclopedia. Under the criteria for speedy deletion, articles that do not indicate the subject's importance or significance may be deleted at any time. Please see the guidelines for what is generally accepted as notable.
If you think that you can assert the notability of the subject, you may contest the deletion by adding {{hangon}}
to the top of the page (just below the existing speedy deletion or "db" tag), coupled with adding a note on the article's talk page explaining your position, but be aware that once tagged for speedy deletion, if the article meets the criterion it may be deleted without delay.
Bookworm857158367 (talk) 04:29, 16 December 2007 (UTC)
Disputed fair use rationale for Image:Aokidensetsushoot!.jpg
Thanks for uploading Image:Aokidensetsushoot!.jpg.
Thank you.BetacommandBot (talk) 06:07, 19 December 2007 (UTC)
Another editor has added the "{{prod}}" template to the article Hispanic Racing Team, suggesting that it be deleted according to the proposed deletion process. All contributions are appreciated, but the editor doesn't believe it satisfies Wikipedia's criteria for inclusion, and has explained why in the article (see also Wikipedia:What Wikipedia is not and Wikipedia:Notability). Please either work to improve the article if the topic is worthy of inclusion in Wikipedia or discuss the relevant issues at its talk page. If you remove the {{prod}} template, the article will not be deleted, but note that it may still be sent to Wikipedia:Articles for deletion, where it may be deleted if consensus to delete is reached.
