Hallo, when you created this article I see that you linked to the author, but the link was red. That means we don't have an article about the author at that exact name. There are a couple of points here:
- We usually make an article about an author before having articles about any of their books: if the book is important enough for Wikipedia, then the author is important enough, and having an article about him or her is the first priority, articles on individual books can come later.
- We have actually had an article about this author since 2008! The problem was that you used a capital "L" and the system did not match it to José de la Cuadra. If you see a red link for an author, or any other topic, which you would expect to find in the encyclopedia, it is often useful to search around and try to find their article which might be under a slightly different spelling or punctuation.
Welcome to Wikipedia, and Happy Editing. There is a lot to learn about editing Wikipedia, but it is an interesting journey! PamD 11:23, 2 July 2012 (UTC)
