Lists in the Indonesia Project
[edit]Are always discouraged - you will find lists that I have either reduced or challenged - due to a number of issues. Please note that Indonesia Project is like any other part of WP English - WP:NOT#DIR applies. Please do not create lists with red links (ie no link to articles) - and please make the origins of the information very clear and make sure it is not COPYRIGHT MATERIAL thank you SatuSuro 07:15, 14 July 2008 (UTC)
Infonesia?
[edit]I will put a speedy delete for that on the basis that no such thing or place exists SatuSuro 07:33, 14 July 2008 (UTC)
That is actually a typo. I was meant to write Indonesia but accidentally wrote Infonesia. User:GPS94
It needs to go - also your list is very close to a copyvio - you got it from a list that has copyright on it - find an alternative source - (hint try the indonesian government statistical website ) SatuSuro 07:37, 14 July 2008 (UTC)
I have asked an admin to delete if possible SatuSuro 07:45, 14 July 2008 (UTC)
[edit]Thanks for uploading Image:Surabaya.jpg. I noticed that the file's description page currently doesn't specify who created the content, so the copyright status is unclear. If you did not create this file yourself, you will need to specify the owner of the copyright. If you obtained it from a website, then a link to the website from which it was taken, together with a restatement of that website's terms of use of its content, is usually sufficient information. However, if the copyright holder is different from the website's publisher, their copyright should also be acknowledged.
As well as adding the source, please add a proper copyright licensing tag if the file doesn't have one already. If you created/took the picture, audio, or video then the {{GFDL-self}} tag can be used to release it under the GFDL. If you believe the media meets the criteria at Wikipedia:Non-free content, use a tag such as {{non-free fair use in|article name}} or one of the other tags listed at Wikipedia:Image copyright tags#Fair use. See Wikipedia:Image copyright tags for the full list of copyright tags that you can use.
If you have uploaded other files, consider checking that you have specified their source and tagged them, too. You can find a list of files you have uploaded by following this link. Unsourced and untagged images may be deleted one week after they have been tagged, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If the image is copyrighted under a non-free license (per Wikipedia:Fair use) then the image will be deleted 48 hours after 10:05, 15 July 2008 (UTC). If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you. MER-C 10:05, 15 July 2008 (UTC)
AfD nomination of List of countries by GDP (nominal) in 2050
[edit]I have nominated List of countries by GDP (nominal) in 2050, an article you created, for deletion. I do not think that this article satisfies Wikipedia's criteria for inclusion, and have explained why at Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/List of countries by GDP (nominal) in 2050. Your opinions on the matter are welcome at that same discussion page; also, you are welcome to edit the article to address these concerns. Thank you for your time. File copyright problem with File:Surabaya.jpg
[edit]Thank you for uploading File:Surabaya.jpg. However, it currently is missing information on its copyright status. Wikipedia takes copyright very seriously. It may be deleted soon, unless we can determine the license and the source of the file. If you know this information, then you can add a copyright tag to the image description page.
If you have uploaded other files, consider checking that you have specified their license and tagged them, too. You can find a list of files you have uploaded by following this link.
If you have any questions, please feel free to ask them at the media copyright questions page. Thanks again for your cooperation. Chris G Bot (talk) 00:18, 21 May 2009 (UTC)

[edit]Welcome to Wikipedia. The recent edit you made to Dangdut has been reverted, as it appears to have removed content from the page without explanation. Use the sandbox for testing; if you believe the edit was constructive, please ensure that you provide an informative edit summary. You may also wish to read the introduction to editing. Thank you. - Actually, I thought the removal was fair enough and I reinstated the removal. It's unreferenced, and all these "controversy/criticism" sections are really poorly written complaints masquerading as neutral writing. However, I would suggest that GPS94 provides clear edit summaries for any future edits of this nature. cheers --Merbabu (talk) 09:04, 9 May 2010 (UTC)

Hi,
You appear to be eligible to vote in the current Arbitration Committee election. The Arbitration Committee is the panel of editors responsible for conducting the Wikipedia arbitration process. It has the authority to enact binding solutions for disputes between editors, primarily related to serious behavioural issues that the community has been unable to resolve. This includes the ability to impose site bans, topic bans, editing restrictions, and other measures needed to maintain our editing environment. The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail. If you wish to participate, you are welcome to review the candidates' statements and submit your choices on the voting page.
