Hello, and welcome to Wikipedia! Thank you for your contributions; however, please remember the essential rule of respecting copyrights. Edits to Wikipedia, such as your edit to the page 1984–85 Wolverhampton Wanderers F.C. Season, may not contain material from copyrighted sources unless used with permission. Heya, thanks for the message. Yeah, I'm new to this and this is the first article I've written from scratch. I was dropping in my references but I was copying the reference text and then working it into my own words, then revisiting several times to rework. I must not have done so with these paragraphs.

I will rewrite them.

Please don't add copyright content to Wikipedia, not even temporarily for editing. Please consider using an external editor such as Microsoft Word or Google Docs and work on it there until you are sure it's completely original. Thanks, — Diannaa (talk) 21:32, 26 January 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Information icon Hi GKnight85! I noticed that you recently marked an edit as minor at 1984–85 Wolverhampton Wanderers F.C. Season that may not have been. "Minor edit" has a very specific definition on Wikipedia—it refers only to superficial edits that could never be the subject of a dispute, such as typo corrections or reverting obvious vandalism. Any edit that changes the meaning of an article is not a minor edit, even if it only concerns a single word. Please see Help:Minor edit for more information. Thank you. Idontknowwhattouseasmyusername300 (talk) 23:13, 26 January 2023 (UTC)[reply]

I really am confused by your removal of this edit. I changed words like "om" to "on" and added additional words into sentences so they read better. I improved the reading experience and did not change any of the core of the page facts. Is that not a minor edit? The nature of the page remained the same? April 2024

[edit]

Hi there - Wikipedia relies on reliable sources to verify information, especially about living people. You didn't provide a source for your changes to the Jim Melrose article, but I have found one and added it for you. Please try and remember to include sources yourself with future edits. Please let me know if you have any questions. GiantSnowman 20:34, 16 April 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Hello there,
The majority of the content you removed was directly from an interview with Jim Melrose. It is cited within my references. GKnight85 (talk) 20:48, 16 April 2024 (UTC)[reply]
