[edit]Hello, I'm Zackmann08. Thank you for your recent contributions to 2015 Charikot Helicopter Crash. I noticed that when you added the image to the infobox, you added it as a thumbnail. In the future, please do not use thumbnails when adding images to an infobox (see WP:INFOBOXIMAGE). What does this mean? Well in the infobox, when you specify the image you wish to use, instead of doing it like this:
|image=[[File:SomeImage.jpg|thumb|Some image caption]]
Instead just supply the name of the image. So in this case you can simply do:
|image=SomeImage.jpg
.
There will then be a separate parameter for the image caption such as |caption=Some image caption
. Please note that this is a generic form message I am leaving on your page because you recently added a thumbnail to an infobox. The specific parameters for the image and caption may be different for the infobox you are using! Please consult the Template page for the infobox being used to see better documentation. Thanks! Zackmann08 (Talk to me/What I been doing) 03:08, 10 October 2017 (UTC)
I notice that in your recent edits to Government of Nepal you added references to Nepal to a number of section headings. That is contrary to MOS:HEAD which says "Headings should not refer redundantly to the subject of the article", so please revert those parts of your change. --David Biddulph (talk) 14:59, 12 October 2017 (UTC)
Wikipedia and copyright
[edit]Hello GERNPL, and welcome to Wikipedia. All or some of your addition(s) to 2006 Yeti Airlines Twin Otter Crash have been removed, as they appear to have added copyrighted material without evidence of permission from the copyright holder. While we appreciate your contributing to Wikipedia, there are certain things you must keep in mind about using information from sources to avoid copyright and plagiarism issues here.
- You can only copy/translate a small amount of a source, and you must mark what you take as a direct quotation with double quotation marks (") and cite the source using an inline citation. You can read about this at Wikipedia:Non-free content in the sections on "text". See also Help:Referencing for beginners, for how to cite sources here.
- Aside from limited quotation, you must put all information in your own words and structure, in proper paraphrase. Following the source's words too closely can create copyright problems, so it is not permitted here; see Wikipedia:Close paraphrasing. (There is a college-level introduction to paraphrase, with examples, hosted by the Online Writing Lab of Purdue.) Even when using your own words, you are still, however, asked to cite your sources to verify the information and to demonstrate that the content is not original research.
- Our primary policy on using copyrighted content is Wikipedia:Copyrights. You may also want to review Wikipedia:Copy-paste.
- If you own the copyright to the source you want to copy or are a legally designated agent, you may be able to license that text so that we can publish it here. Understand, though, that unlike many other sites, where a person can license their content for use there and retain non-free ownership, that is not possible at Wikipedia. Rather, the release of content must be irrevocable, to the world, into the public domain (PD) or under a suitably-free and compatible copyright license. Such a release must be done in a verifiable manner, so that the authority of the person purporting to release the copyright is evidenced. See Wikipedia:Donating copyrighted materials.
- In very rare cases (that is, for sources that are PD or compatibly licensed) it may be possible to include greater portions of a source text. However, please seek help at Wikipedia:Media copyright questions, the help desk or the Teahouse before adding such content to the article. 99.9% of sources may not be added in this way, so it is necessary to seek confirmation first. If you do confirm that a source is public domain or compatibly licensed, you will still need to provide full attribution; see Wikipedia:Plagiarism for the steps you need to follow.
- Also note that Wikipedia articles may not be copied or translated without attribution. If you want to copy or translate from another Wikipedia project or article, you must follow the copyright attribution steps in Wikipedia:Translation#How to translate. See also Wikipedia:Copying within Wikipedia.
It's very important that contributors understand and follow these practices, as policy requires that people who persistently do not must be blocked from editing. If you have any questions about this, you are welcome to leave me a message on my talk page. Thank you. — Diannaa 🍁 (talk) 21:05, 13 October 2017 (UTC)
I also found and removed copyright material added by you in the following articles:
- Yeti Airlines Flight 117
- 2002 Shangri-La Air Twin Otter Crash
- Necon Air Flight 128
- Department of Passport (Nepal)
- Department of Customs (Nepal)
- Inland Revenue Department (Nepal)
- Nepalese Army Air Service
- Ministry of Culture, Tourism and Civil Aviation (Nepal)
- Simrik Airlines
- List of accidents and incidents involving airliners by location
- Ministry of Foreign Affairs (Nepal)
- Manang Air
- Ministry of Education (Nepal)
- Yeti Airlines
- Tara Air
- Makalu Air. Copyright law and its application are complex matters, and you should not edit any more until you have taken the time to read and understand our copyright policy. Thank you, — Diannaa 🍁 (talk) 22:26, 13 October 2017 (UTC)
Minor edits
[edit]You marked this edit as a minor edit, so I assume that you have not read Wikipedia's definition at Help:Minor edit. Please read it now. --David Biddulph (talk) 23:32, 13 October 2017 (UTC)
Sorry, it was meant to be minor edit, but then I kept editing and forgot to take out the mark for "minor edit". Won't happen again. --GERNPL
Template errors
[edit]Hello, and thank you for your contributions, but can you please use the preview function when editing? I have just found three templates to which you added the phrase "Italic text," no doubt by accidentally hitting the "italic" button when making other, useful changes. This is something that could be easily avoided by using preview. Thanks, Jessicapierce (talk) 07:23, 21 September 2018 (UTC)

The article Nepal national under-17 football team results has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:
Can't see how this page is notable enough for its own article.
While all constructive contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, pages may be deleted for any of several reasons.
You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{proposed deletion/dated}}
notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.
Please consider improving the page to address the issues raised. Removing {{proposed deletion/dated}}
will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. In particular, the speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and articles for deletion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion. HawkAussie (talk) 01:21, 29 June 2020 (UTC)

Ways to improve 2004 Martyr's Memorial A-Division League
[edit]Hello, GERNPL,
Thank you for creating 2004 Martyr's Memorial A-Division League.
I have tagged the page as having some issues to fix, as a part of our page curation process and note that:
This article is missing prose, which means it fails notability for sports seasons. League and Division season articles should consist mainly of well-sourced prose, not just statistics and lists of players. Wikipedia is not a stats directory. See WP:NSEASONS for guidance. Failing this notability guide, this article may be redirected to the main League or Division page. An example is LSU Tigers football

Ways to improve Sunakhari Athletic Club
[edit]Hello, GERNPL,
Thank you for creating Sunakhari Athletic Club.
I have tagged the page as having some issues to fix, as a part of our page curation process and note that:
This article needs more references to satisfy notability for sport. What is needed are references from significant coverage about the topic of the article, and independent of it, in multiple secondary sources which are WP:RS; that is your guide. You may also read WP:PRIMARY which details the limited permitted usage of primary sources. A more comprehensive guide is WP:SOURCES ... Providing sufficient references, ideally one per fact referred to, that meet these tough criteria is likely to allow this article to remain. Lack of them or an inability to find them is likely to mean that the topic is not suitable for inclusion. Kindly do the needful. Thank you.
