[edit]Thanks for uploading Image:VernandMorency-34.jpg. I notice the 'image' page specifies that the image is being used under fair use, but its use in Wikipedia articles fails our first fair use criterion in that it illustrates a subject for which a freely licensed image could reasonably be found or created that provides substantially the same information. If you believe this image is not replaceable, please:
- Go to the image description page and edit it to add
{{Replaceable fair use disputed}}
, without deleting the original Replaceable fair use template. - On the image discussion page, write the reason why this image is not replaceable at all.
Alternatively, you can also choose to replace the fair use image by finding a freely licensed image of its subject, requesting that the copyright holder release this (or a similar) image under a free license, or by taking a picture of it yourself.
If you have uploaded other fair use media, consider checking that you have specified how these images fully satisfy our fair use criteria. You can find a list of 'image' pages you have edited by clicking on this link. Note that any fair use images which are replaceable by free-licensed alternatives will be deleted one week after they have been uploaded, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you. NMajdan•talk 22:01, 4 January 2007 (UTC)
Hello, and welcome to Wikipedia! We welcome and appreciate your contributions, such as Tony Yayo, but we regretfully cannot accept original research. Please find and add a reliable citation to your recent edit so we can verify your work. Uncited information may be removed at any time. Thanks for your efforts, and happy editing! Edits
[edit]For starters, don't change sales numbers in articles like you did at Lloyd Banks unless you have a source to back it up. Second, this is an absolutely unacceptable personal attack. Continued attacks against other editors may lead to your account being blocked.--Isotope23 15:43, 1 May 2007 (UTC)
Do not recreate Iceman (Rapper)
[edit]You have recently recreated or reposted material at Iceman (Rapper) which previously was deleted in accordance with Wikipedia's deletion policies. Please do not recreate this article without prior approval from an administrator or you may be blocked from editing. We ask that you respect what Wikipedia is not. If you disagree with the article's deletion, you may seek an independent deletion review. AecisBrievenbus 00:26, 25 May 2007 (UTC)
- I have speedydeleted the article because the subject (you?) did not meet the notability guidelines, as outlined in WP:MUSIC. If you can write an article asserting how you do, you can write a new article (provided the information in the article is verifiable from reliable sources), but I would suggest waiting until someone else does, per Wikipedia:Autobiography. If you disagree with the deletion, you may request a Deletion review. AecisBrievenbus 00:45, 25 May 2007 (UTC)
Welcome to the Wonderful World of Wiki
[edit]You shouldn't be too discouraged by having your first article rejected. Learning more aboutWikipedia:Notability might help you both in your rapper career as well as in making/editing articles to Wikipedia! As you move forward with this, you might think about what it takes to become 'notable' both in real-world and Wikipedia terms, and take this into account. Best of luck! Pow La Don
[edit]I have added a "{{prod}}" template to the article Pow La Don, suggesting that it be deleted according to the proposed deletion process. All contributions are appreciated, but I don't believe it satisfies Wikipedia's criteria for inclusion, and I've explained why in the deletion notice (see also "What Wikipedia is not" and Wikipedia's deletion policy). You may contest the proposed deletion by removing the {{dated prod}}
notice, but please explain why you disagree with the proposed deletion in your edit summary or on its talk page. Also, please consider improving the article to address the issues raised. Even though removing the deletion notice will prevent deletion through the proposed deletion process, the article may still be deleted if it matches any of the speedy deletion criteria or it can be sent to Articles for Deletion, where it may be deleted if consensus to delete is reached. Hello, this is a message from an automated bot. A tag has been placed on Miami's Best (album), by Closenplay, another Wikipedia user, requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. The tag claims that it should be speedily deleted because Miami's Best (album) fits the criteria for speedy deletion for the following reason:
To contest the tagging and request that administrators wait before possibly deleting Miami's Best (album), please affix the template {{hangon}} to the page, and put a note on its talk page. If the article has already been deleted, see the advice and instructions at WP:WMD. Please note, this bot is only informing you of the nomination for speedy deletion, it did not nominate Miami's Best (album) itself. Feel free to leave a message on the bot operator's talk page if you have any questions about this or any problems with this bot. --Android Mouse Bot 2 10:46, 5 June 2007 (UTC)
