Vivisection
[edit]In answer to your question, DanP is trying to promote the view that circumcision is vivisection. As Wikipedia policy (and other editors) do not allow him to put that kind of POV into articles, he is rather insistent on trying to make the point in other ways. Jayjg (talk) 00:31, 20 Jun 2005 (UTC)
It's a tricky one. Where does it belong? The current incarnation of the surgery page states that surgery is a "medical specialty that treats diseases or injuries". Circumcision isn't always done to treat a disease. But then again, plastic surgery doesn't always treat diseases or injuries, and it is still classed as surgery. G.hartig 06:39, 20 Jun 2005 (UTC)
APY redirect
[edit]The article on Annual Percentage Yeild has been redirected to the article Compound interest. Redirecting "APY" to Annual Percentage Yeild creates a double redirect. Please don't change again. semper fi — Moe 05:31, 6 November 2006 (UTC)
