@MRRaja001: I thought it would be an uncontroversial PROD, but it turned out to be some sort of a 17 year old battle between the creator of the article and his malicious doppelganger. AfD is the way, but it would be much more difficult since the previous AfD from 2006 was thwarted and the subject was deemed notable then, he would much more now. - Fylindfotberserk (talk) 18:46, 31 July 2023 (UTC)

What is your opinion mate. Shall we raise Afd or leave this. I feel he's not much notable to be on Wikipedia. Bringing back

Hi! A certain webpage used to have some contents. It was cited as a source in wikipedia. After that, some months later, the content in the webpage was removed (probably by the webpage creator or someone else). @Haoreima: I see the above archive uses 2001 census. This one from July 24, 2019 reflects 2011 census figures. So it would be the most updated. Post 2019, Ethnologue started locking their articles. @Haoreima: It is off wiki (Wayback Machine). The archive links should be added using 'archive-url' and 'archive-date' parameters withing the CS templates, if not using CS, then webarchive template should be used within ref tags. - Fylindfotberserk (talk) 16:56, 2 August 2023 (UTC)

Any idea

What do you think regarding this: many people want to rename Churachandpur as Lamka (called by the local tribes). So, they tried some attempts to move the article title. When failed or moved back to the original title, one created a page Lamka, and redirected the "Churachandpur" to the new page. Officially as well as popularly, it's still Churachandpur.

@Haoreima: Cut paste moves like these are not allowed. Churachandpur is the wP:COMMONNAME. Lamka is clearly a redirect/another name of the place, so deserves a WP:CSD. And that user, [1] has crossed paths with me before for his ethnic POV. I've changed many of his insertion of "Naga" to "Indian" according to WP:NATIONALITY. He has obviously made quite a lot of fork articles for Nagaland settlements. - Fylindfotberserk (talk) 15:42, 11 August 2023 (UTC)

That user was once blocked for sock puppetry and unblocked and again blocked temporarily which was automatically unblocked. The second block was because of his disruptive editing in page Dzuko Valley, continuously removing Meitei terms (for being Manipur's official language), and also removing the fact that Dzuko valley is a part of both Manipur and Nagaland, to claim it as only Nagaland's territory.

Similar type of edits were done in later times by many newly created accounts in the same page, for which there's an open case in Wikipedia:Sockpuppet investigations/The Anonymous Earthling

He has numerous list of vandalism and disruption in wikipedia edits.

According to your observation and experience, do you think WP:BLOCKREQ is needed?

I saw that user got blocked for sock puppetry. I saw in his move log that he had been engaged in massive level page renaming specifically against WP:COMMONNAME. He had been warned by other editors multiple times in the past but he did what he wanted. I have recently reverted a few of his moves like those in Senapati, Manipur, Kangpokpi, etc. Another editor reverted his move in Chandel district and Chandel, Manipur. When you have some free time, please check on those logs if there's any further violation of page renaming policies. Haoreima (talk) 11:24, 29 August 2023 (UTC)
