Speedy deletion nomination of Funbox Media
[edit]Hello FutureDataArchive,
I wanted to let you know that I just tagged Funbox Media for deletion, because it seems to be promotional, rather than an encyclopedia article.
If you feel that the article shouldn't be deleted and want more time to work on it, you can contest this deletion, but please don't remove the speedy deletion tag from the top.
You can leave a note on my talk page if you have questions. LouiseS1979 (pigeonhole) 11:26, 18 January 2015 (UTC)

Article question
[edit]Hi - your article doesn't appear to be properly sourced; the sources you quote are all promotional in nature, such as LinkedIn and the company's website, so it appears to be someone trying to promote a particular company rather than write a genuinely-encyclopaedic Wikipedia article. There are some strict rules about what can and can't be used as sources for an article, so please read the links that someone has left on your page, so you can see what we require when writing something. - Regarding adding to the encyclopaedia 'one page at a time', remember there are constraints on such things as 'notability' and the need for reliable sources on a company or other subject that govern whether that subject should have a Wikipedia article or not. Not everything should have an article; it might be better, if you don't want to give the impression that you are here to promote companies, to look for a WikiProject in an interest area that you have and contribute to articles under their guidance. Also, using WP:Articles for Creation might help you get feedback on what sources are appropriate and what are not. Unfortunately, if you appear to come here, add an article about a non-notable company using only their page and LinkedIn, you do look like someone who is only here to promote those companies. Before you go any further, please read and digest and maybe help out with existing articles - then when you do come to create another page, you know more about what we're looking for and won't get your pages deleted quickly. - It's a shame you want to leave. However, if an article isn't written to the specifications of what we need, it can't stay up. This is nothing personal; it just means that we don't need that particular article. New pages do get looked at carefully and if it wasn't me who tagged it, it would have been someone else. Nevertheless, if you reconsider, there is a lot of information out there about what we do need, so if you want to come back, take a look at it, ask for help, and there'll usually be someone to give it to you.
