archiving
Hello Fumitol,
I have adjusted your settings to those that should work. Note that the bot sees the first thread under a section header with a trailing timestamp. Things written above the first header or threads without timestamps won't be archived. Also, by default the archive waits to archive two threads (which you didn't have) but I've adjusted that with the minthreadstoarchive parameter to archive a single thread. Another default is that without an algo parameter, the bot archives every 24 hours so actually the 24 hr that I've set is redundant but at least it serves to remind you about your archiving preferences.
The bot should visit this page within 24 hours. Hopefully helpful,

- Thank you Berean-Hunter. You have been, and continue to be, always helpful. Thank You again. - Fumitol|talk|cont 17:45, 22 January 2012 (UTC)
- You're quite welcome. Wwoods may have saved me from looking foolish as I forgot about what he mentions below...that is what happens when I don't have my coffee in me yet.
⋙–Berean–Hunter—► 01:09, 23 January 2012 (UTC)- Haha, I totally know what you mean Berean! -Fumitol|talk|cont 01:13, 23 January 2012 (UTC)
- You're quite welcome. Wwoods may have saved me from looking foolish as I forgot about what he mentions below...that is what happens when I don't have my coffee in me yet.
Another thing: by default, the bot won't wipe the page bare; it leaves at least 5 sections. If you want to change that, set the minthreadsleft
parameter; e.g.
|minthreadsleft = 0

Disambiguation link notification
Hi. When you recently edited Penguin Group, you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page John Wiley (check to confirm | fix with Dab solver). Such links are almost always unintended, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of "Did you mean..." article titles. Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.

- Reminder to self about AfC - WP:AFCR -Fumitol|talk|cont 21:35, 8 February 2012 (UTC)
It is difficult to do any more to this article. It is based on one news release then circulated on the news thru differing media esp now the internet. I cannot get to the website because I'm currently in China. It is notable IMO because of its marriage of a think tank designed for radical solutions to major problems such as freshwater shortages around the world and breakthrough technologies. Right now there isn't much else to write home about and there are no other references. I am only condensing and trying to report as neutrally as possible ONE item released in the news. I'd rather not just wait for them to accomplish more when we can have at least a reference that it exists. I see no downside for Wikipedia in including this information and I see a small present upside.

- If there isn't any additional coverage in reliable third party sources, then the subject may not meet the notability guidelines at this point in time. Alpha_Quadrant (talk) 16:54, 10 February 2012 (UTC)
There are four links. There were over 60 links from media across the globe. Solve for X has their own website. Neither Google or Solve for X is going anywhere for some time. I really don't understand the reluctance to mention this in the encyclopedia. It is really a fairly big deal. I'm done with it if you people still refuse to include it. And I have to say I'm very disappointed in the entire review process. I am going to reevaluate my sponsoring of Wikipedia. Jobberone (talk) 00:17, 11 February 2012 (UTC)
- I agree that some senseless decisions were made here. The perceived POV issues could have been rectified by the reviewers themselves, and the suggestion that Solve for X may not meet notability guidelines is ludicrous and smacks of a lack of research. I'm going to work on this shortly and accept it into mainspace. Cheers, Goodvac (talk) 01:08, 11 February 2012 (UTC)
Thank you. I don't want anyone to perceive I'm upset over the possibility of an article I introduced not being included in Wikipedia. I was upset over the process deciding its inclusion. Cheers.Jobberone (talk) 04:52, 11 February 2012 (UTC)
Help in refing
Thanks for your comments on my entry.
I have used the help on how to cite, I have succeeded in creating refs in the ref list, but somehow the number doesn't appear in the text itself. Could you help?
Karenett (talk) 11:37, 10 February 2012 (UTC)
Hello and welcome to Wikipedia Karenett! To learn how to do an inline citation, please look at the following article Here. You will notice that there is a use of what is called <ref> tags.
See the example below:
- Mary is quite contrary [1]
Now here is what i did with those reference tags:
- Mary is quite contrary
<ref>http://www.rhymes.org.uk/mary_mary_quite_contrary.htm</ref>
<references/>
The MediaWiki software automatically pulls that reference down to where you put that <references/>
tag and assigns that reference a number.
Does this help you? -Fumitol|talk|cont 16:36, 10 February 2012 (UTC)
Deletion of Article "Unisonic (band)"
Below is in reference to this article that was put up for AfC. -Fumitol|talk|cont
Hello,
Yesterday I uploaded an article under the name "Unisonic (band)". The article was reviewed and rejected by you because "This submission is not adequately supported by reliable, independent sources".
When trying to edit the article other text (probably an older rejected article) appears. My article contained both inline references and external references. By "independent sources" do you mean online reviews, magazines and online music shops?
Sorry for posting here but the article's talk page can't be edited. An advise on how to proceed would be very welcome.
Thank you "Mpaoxi (talk) 11:51, 14 February 2012 (UTC)"
- Hello and welcome to Wikipedia Mpaoxi!
- By Independent sources I mean exactly that. Things that fall out of that spectrum are the own bands website/band members sites & blogs, spouses sites & blogs etc etc etc. You also cannot reference Wikipedia itself (Policy: WP:CIRCULAR).
- Are you sure that you saved your changes to the page before resubmitting? Looking at the history of the article, I see no changes made by you, except for resubmitting it to us. I know that on occasion, I myself have accidentally not saved my changes, but thought I had.
- With the article at hand and in its current state, it also reads like an advertisement (Policy: WP:ADVERT). The sentence: "Many fans all over the world have been anticipating this for years, now it comes true - Michael Kiskehttp://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Michael_Kiske and Kai Hansen teamed up again, Kai joined UNISONIC!" reads exactly as something you would read on a band webpage, on a poster, or in a fan forum.
- I would like to see what you had meant to submit :) - Fumitol|talk|cont 14:08, 14 February 2012 (UTC)
Thank you for the info. I re-submitted the article yesterday, but it got rejected again because "This submission doesn't sufficiently explain the importance or significance of the subject". I guess that I will have to wait a couple of months (for sufficient media coverage) and try again.
"Mpaoxi (talk) 10:25, 15 February 2012 (UTC)"
- Hey Mpaoxi. I looked at the article again, and saw that you had re-written it at the bottom there. I have removed the previous entries and moved that newer revision up. One thing to note is that you cannot reference websites that belong to band members. The references have to be independent of the person the article is talking about (Relevant Policy: WP:IS). That said, they aren't quite notable enough yet to have an article, but perhaps in the next few months there will be more to go on! Thank You. -Fumitol|talk|cont 17:08, 15 February 2012 (UTC)
Norris v. Moskin Stores, Inc.
Thanks for the link to the footnotes page. It was very helpful! I'm still pretty new to wikiing. :) --Outis010 (talk) 18:47, 16 February 2012 (UTC)--Outis010 (talk) 18:35, 16 February 2012 (UTC)
- Hello and welcome to Wikipedia Outis010! You're quite welcome, and I am glad that you found it helpful :). One thing to note would be trying to mimic other cases that are featured here on Wikipedia. I have gone ahead and fixed a few formatting errors that were on the page. I think that the article itself needs a little more information in it as well. If you have any other questions, please do not hesitate to ask! -Fumitol|talk|cont 19:29, 16 February 2012 (UTC)
Deletion of Article "Wikipedia talk:Articles for creation/Patricia Rae"
Hi I Was not sure who to contact about this, so I thought I would try and post something here for you. I recentlyy Re-Submitted my Article ("Wikipedia talk:Articles for creation/Patricia Rae",)I was working on for an actress I work for (Patricia Rae), but I received an Email saying it was going to be deleted, and then received another Email saying it had been deleted because of Copyrighted material I used from IMDb.
I truly do appologize for making that mistake, but we thought it would be ok to use that info, due to the fact that the we submitted the mini Bio to IMDb. I do not mind editing it if I have to so I can get a correct article out there, but I can't seem to find the one I submitted so I can change some things on it.
If there is any possible way I could work on the deleted material to make it right, or if I could re-do it, please let me know. I would greatly appreciate it.
--PatriciaRaeOnline (talk) 19:12, 17 February 2012 (UTC)
- Hello and welcome to Wikipedia PatriciaRaeOnline! You would not believe how many people make that same mistake! (Using content that they submitted to another site.)
- One policy that I find useful in these situations is the COPY policy (Relevant Policy: WP:COPY).
- Since this would be considered a biography, please also check out the policy on Biographies of Living Persons (Relevant Policy: WP:BLP.
- One other policy that I would also ask that you look over is Conflict of Interest (Relevant Policy: WP:COI). You have stated that you work for Patricia Rae and that can be a COI issue which can lead to questions about an articles Neutral Point of View (Relevant Policy: WP:NPOV).
- Unfortunately, I cannot bring an article back from deletion. One thing that I would do, if were you, is follow the policies I have outlined above, rewrite the article in your Sandbox], and then submit it again to AfC. If you have any other questions, I am more than happy to answer them (or find someone who can).
- Thank You! -Fumitol|talk|cont 21:16, 17 February 2012 (UTC)

Hi, I am sorry, I'm not sure if this is the way to contact you.. I have been searching for a while so I apologize. You declined my article: Wikipedia talk:Articles for creation/Rocky Bivens. Can you tell me which section needs to be improved upon please. I'm finding this rather difficult, and anxious. Thank you so much! — Preceding unsigned comment added by Juliahuiemartin (talk • contribs) 22:06, 22 February 2012 (UTC)

Please advise
I recently submitted a piece that you said infringed copyright (though I'd actually written the copy myself for another website). I've rewritten the copy again so could you please review this again and advise if now acceptable. ConfirmAccount extension
Hey :). You're being contacted because you are involved in the ACC process, or participated in the original discussion in '08 about the ConfirmAccount extension. This is a note to let you know that we are seeking opinions on switching this extension on, effectively making the ACC process via the Toolserver redundant. You can read all the details here; I would be very grateful if people would indicate how they feel about the idea :). Thanks! Okeyes (WMF) (talk) 13:15, 12 April 2012 (UTC)
