Talkback
[edit]Message added 22:15, 22 September 2010 (UTC). You can remove this notice at any time by removing the {{Talkback}} or {{Tb}} template.
Just to let you know, canvassing an issue to users who have no prior involvement in it, especially with a biased comment, is a violation of WP:CANVAS. I note that you left a comment about User:Kuru on both my talk page and Malik Shabazz'. If you feel that Kuru is abusing their tools, please follow my advice and take it to WP:ANI. GiftigerWunsch [TALK] 22:21, 22 September 2010 (UTC)
- Giftiger Wunsch is right. WP:ANI is the appropriate place to bring complaints about alleged abuse by administrators. Please be sure you have "clean hands" in the matter, or your ANI report may boomerang on you. — Malik Shabazz Talk/Stalk 22:29, 22 September 2010 (UTC)

[edit]Hello. In case you didn't know, when you add content to talk pages and Wikipedia pages that have open discussion, you must sign your posts by typing four tildes ( ~~~~ ) at the end of your comment. You may also click on the signature button located above the edit window. This will automatically insert a signature with your username or IP address and the time you posted the comment. This information is useful because other editors will be able to tell who said what, and when. Thank you. GiftigerWunsch [TALK] 22:54, 22 September 2010 (UTC)
Your "message" on my talk page
[edit]Thanks for the dump on my talk page. Not sure what I am supposed to do with it. – ukexpat (talk) 17:25, 6 October 2010 (UTC)
- Hi Pat, You asked for sources of notability, I provided it. If you consider sources, "dump", maybe it's time you re-evaluate your responsibility as an admin.
- Pat? Anyway, dumping them on user talk pages is not helping. And who said I was an admin? – ukexpat (talk) 17:31, 6 October 2010 (UTC)
What would help? Well, it makes sense now - I didnt think an admin would call sources "dump".
- No need to be snarky. Here's my suggestion. Why don't you re-create the article in your userspace at, say, User:FrosteaTheSnowman/Tapioca Express. Cite the sources that you have found, make sure that the article is laid properly per WP:LAYOUT and otherwise complies with the manual of style and then ask at requests for feedback for it to be reviewed. When it has been reviewed and is ready for mainspace, it can be moved there. While it is in userspace and as long as it is not a copyvio or a blatant advertisement, you can work on it at you own pace without fear of deletion. Remember, there is no deadline. Hope this helps. – ukexpat (talk) 17:53, 6 October 2010 (UTC)
Copyright violations
[edit]Hi, I notice you have cut and paste a number of articles onto user pages. While it's OK to provide a reference, if you cut and paste content from newspapers and the like, it's a copyright violation and is not permitted. Please don't so it again. --Cameron Scott (talk) 18:16, 6 October 2010 (UTC)
- nod*
quickly
[edit]if that's you starting to nominate Quickly for deletion - don't do it! see WP:POINT, you will regret it. I think Tapioca Express will come back, I will look at your alternative and see what the story was. The fact is, notable subject articles do get deleted, I focus on rescuing what is worthy. Cheers.--Milowent • talkblp-r 00:59, 7 October 2010 (UTC)
- The "people" have spoken. Furthering the consensus, I am being objective. I have no reason to prove a point, only to make Wikipedia a "better" place, by definition of User:Jayron32, User:Kuru, et al. Thank you for your concern. I plan on finding more non-notable articles to assist Jayron and Kuru. FrosteaTheSnowman (talk) 01:05, 7 October 2010 (UTC)
Administrator???
[edit]On your user page, you claim to be an administrator. You are not an administrator. So you had best remove that comment before it gets you in trouble. :) ←Baseball Bugs What's up, Doc? carrots→ 17:46, 8 October 2010 (UTC)
Please read carefully. I am an AdMANistrator. not an administrator.
- There is no such English word as "admanistrator". What are you really trying to say? ←Baseball Bugs What's up, Doc? carrots→ 17:52, 8 October 2010 (UTC)
You need to remove that stuff from your user page before someone else does it for you and decides to block you for impersonating an administrator. There is no such word as "admanistrator". ←Baseball Bugs What's up, Doc? carrots→ 18:08, 8 October 2010 (UTC)
- Just a play on words. I feel some administrators were nominated prematurely, therefore unable to fully serve their roles objectively in bang bang situations, either being bias, subjective or just plain immature and abusing their privelege by going on power trips. I feel I don't want that title if that's what being an administrator is. Therefore I made my own title of Admanistrator, because I don't need to be an administrator to do whats best and right for Wikipedia, because I'm a man about it. =P
Good day! FrosteaTheSnowman (talk) 18:09, 8 October 2010 (UTC)
- Remove that comment from your user page immediately, or I'll bring up your name at WP:ANI, and I suspect you won't like the outcome. ←Baseball Bugs What's up, Doc? carrots→ 18:14, 8 October 2010 (UTC)
- @FrosteaTheSnowman: STRONGLY advice you to remove it to avoid being seen as impersonating a Sysop here, so consider this you last warning before we take you to ANI for sanctioning measures. Best. --Dave ♠♣♥♦™№1185©♪♫® 18:16, 8 October 2010 (UTC)
I suspect you didn't understand my explanation. Do you not have a life? That you must pester users on Wikipedia, scouring to and fro, finding anything you can pick at? Before I remove it to stop your annoyance, please answer these questions. It's been there and the admins before you, had no problem with it. Thanks, FrosteaTheSnowman (talk) 18:18, 8 October 2010 (UTC)
- "It's been there"??? Where? You just added it an hour ago. Unless you're referring to some previous account that you used to have? ←Baseball Bugs What's up, Doc? carrots→ 18:23, 8 October 2010 (UTC)
- I replaced it with "editor". Frostea has gotten himself into enough trouble already, he doesn't need this to give him a meltdown. ←Baseball Bugs What's up, Doc? carrots→ 18:18, 8 October 2010 (UTC)
What trouble would that be?
- An indefinite block for impersonating an administrator, and for persistent spamming. ←Baseball Bugs What's up, Doc? carrots→ 18:23, 8 October 2010 (UTC)
When did I do that? Please provide your evidences. I never said I was an Administrator. What spam?
- You're either not paying attention or you're deliberately jerking us around. And your approach does have kind of a familiar ring to it. Are you based in the UK? ←Baseball Bugs What's up, Doc? carrots→ 18:45, 8 October 2010 (UTC)
- Given your tendency toward spamming, the "ad man" part of "admanistrator" might be true. :) ←Baseball Bugs What's up, Doc? carrots→ 02:26, 9 October 2010 (UTC)
- Bugs, could it be time to keep our ion the ball? --Dave ♠♣♥♦™№1185©♪♫® 06:34, 9 October 2010 (UTC)
- My pet kitty will try to keep a cation the ball. Meanwhile, I'm hoping the editor will open a branch in the midwest, as we could use some good Chinese tapioca. :) ←Baseball Bugs What's up, Doc? carrots→ 06:55, 9 October 2010 (UTC)
Lennon
[edit]you wiped out the heading Monuments, either do it correctly or desist...Modernist (talk) 17:52, 8 October 2010 (UTC)
- much better :)...Modernist (talk) 17:55, 8 October 2010 (UTC)
- haha! Apologies, don't know how that happened. Anyway, I corrected it. Thanks for catching that! Best Regards, FrosteaTheSnowman (talk) 18:06, 8 October 2010 (UTC)
- Your link to the HardRock Cafe does not lead to a Lennon monument and reads as spam; please leave it out unless it is a direct link to a Lennon memorial...Modernist (talk) 18:09, 8 October 2010 (UTC)
- I see, I tried correcting that link, but couldn't directly link to the paragraph that verifies that monument. No worries, too busy to find a better reference. Thanks for the help! FrosteaTheSnowman (talk) 18:35, 8 October 2010 (UTC)
