Taylor Swift 2009 MTV Video Music Awards incident
[edit]This is already in the article, and did not need to/should not be relayed under the simple title "Controversy" with as much detail as you gave it, per WP:UNDUE. If you want to change the end of the section's title that already contains this information (though not as much as your version) to instead say "controversy" rather than "incident," then you can try that (though I am not sure other editors will agree that it is that big of a controversy to be titled one). I am also not against you adding a bit of what Kanye West said in his apology to Swift, if you put it in blockquote. But that should probably be discussed on the talk page of this article first. For now, I have added a mention about West's apology (with the Rolling Stone reference you supplied). Flyer22 (talk) 09:04, 14 September 2009 (UTC)
Turns out to be that big of a controversy now, LOL. I expanded the 2009 MTV Video Music Awards article with information about it. More can surely be added to it, without any worries about WP:UNDUE. Flyer22 (talk) 10:07, 15 September 2009 (UTC)
I didn't realize Flyer22 had passed away. RIP Froggy26rk (talk) 4:35, 2 November 2024 (UTC)
