The article Sciforma's PSNext has been speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under the criteria for speedy deletion, because the article seems to be blatant advertising which only promotes a company, product, group or service and which would need to be fundamentally rewritten in order to become an encyclopedia article. Please read the general criteria for speedy deletion, particularly item 11, as well as the guidelines on spam. Feel free to leave a note on my talk page if you have any questions about this. Trying to add a page again for PSNext, a project management package my company uses. We found many packages through Wikipedia on Wikipedia pages like this one and almost missed finding out about PSNext since there was not a page for them like all these other packages. I'll flesh it out with more information, once I know it won't be deleted again while other tools articles can remain. I've had to call it "Sciforma's PSNext" to differentiate the article from a networking protocol that has an article already in Wikipedia. -- August 14, 2008
Speedy deletion of Sciforma's PSNext
[edit]A tag has been placed on Sciforma's PSNext, requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section G11 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the article seems to be blatant advertising which only promotes a company, product, group, service or person and would need to be fundamentally rewritten in order to become an encyclopedia article. Please read the guidelines on spam as well as the Wikipedia:Business' FAQ for more information.
If you think that this notice was placed here in error, you may contest the deletion by adding {{hangon}}
to the top of the page that has been nominated for deletion (just below the existing speedy deletion or "db" tag), coupled with adding a note on the talk page explaining your position, but be aware that once tagged for speedy deletion, if the article meets the criterion it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but don't hesitate to add information to the article that would would render it more in conformance with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. Lastly, please note that if the article does get deleted, you can contact one of these admins to request that a copy be emailed to you. Minkythecat (talk) 11:47, 14 August 2008 (UTC)
Wiki
[edit]Wikipedia is NOT a business directory. Entries only stay if they have encyclopedic quality - see policies such as notability, reliable sources and what Wikipedia is not. Minkythecat (talk) 12:04, 14 August 2008 (UTC)
Also, WP:1ST gives some useful tips about creating your first article. You may want to check it out. Cheers! Apparition11 (talk) 12:09, 14 August 2008 (UTC)
The Primavera article is a weakly notable article. The difference being that it provides an independent reference that gives an assertion of notability to the article. If you can't find any such sources for this article, then it will probably end up being speedied again. Minkythecat (talk) 12:35, 14 August 2008 (UTC)
