Hi Admin, I am new to wikipedia but keen to contribute and be a constructive user. Upon noticing an edit made by a user who routinely emphasises the 'Russian' character of certain people and made a change with no talk page approval or consensus, removing a stable version of the page in the process, I decided to edit the article Alexei Razumovsky, restoring a more stable version of the page , providing citations for the most contentious areas and providing for an area on the talk page to address the matter. Another user has then very combatively responded to my edit, abruptly reverting my edit, questioning the integrity of my account and implying that as I have little experience, I should be effectively silenced. Is this correct? Are new users prohibited from editing until they have edited more than so many times? Friendofthearticle (talk) 06:00, 14 March 2023 (UTC)
- Your (bold) reversion back to a version of the article from almost nine years ago was challenged, so you need to discuss your change on the article Talk page (see WP:BRD). This does not require administrative intervention.
