Gnu Assembler

[edit]

Hi Friecode, one of the more prominent aspects which differentiates the GAS from other assemblers is the register clobber list (the other one is the perceived AT&T focus). The existing example (and also the text) did not reflect this, in general the article should be expanded not shrinked. Even when not taking the clobber list in consideration the intel syntax question/long standing debate is high profile enough to allow a example on it's own. So, this two differentiating aspects to other assemblers should be appropriate reflected in article, e.g. with a code example, which should be the starting point for a needed expansion. Therefore, the removed exmaple should be re-added. Shaddim (talk) 14:13, 15 February 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Hi. I've reverted this edit which you made to List of spaceflight-related accidents and incidents, in which you changed dates into a long year month day format. Such a date format is not consistent with Wikipedia's Manual of Style which states that only day month year or month day year may be used for long dates in articles. It might also be helpful if you leave an edit summary in the future to summarise the changes you have made and the reasons for doing so. --W. D. Graham 09:26, 2 November 2014 (UTC)[reply]

If this is your concern, there are plenty of other bullet points in that list items using the year month day format among a variety of others. I was trying to at least make them uniform. If you know the proper date format could you fix those as well instead of merely reverting the edit? Friecode (talk) 00:55, 7 November 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. Wikipedia appreciates your help. We noticed though that when you edited Principality of Sealand, you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page State. Such links are almost always unintended, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of "Did you mean..." article titles. Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.
