Please do not add inappropriate external links to Wikipedia. Wikipedia is not a mere directory of links nor should it be used for advertising or promotion. Inappropriate links include (but are not limited to) links to personal web sites, links to web sites with which you are affiliated, and links that exist to attract visitors to a web site or promote a product. See the external links guideline and spam policies for further explanations of links that are considered appropriate. If you feel the link should be added to the article, then please discuss it on the article's talk page rather than re-adding it. See the welcome page to learn more about Wikipedia. Thank you. [edit]Yeah, I used to play Rogue a lot in the old days, mucking around on my computer.
Wikipedia is an interesting place, and to be perfectly honest there are so many little camps of people and their beliefs that it's very , very easy to get confused. The main things you can always do, if you're new, is learn the ropes. Vandals always need fighting, linkspammers (people who make dozens of external links for advertising) need smiting, and new people need welcoming.
As for Messianic Judaism, I'm mostly helping out because the topic is controversial, and a level head is what it needs. I'm rather new myself. If you need anything, though, let me know. --Shrieking Harpy Talk|Count 04:40, 7 November 2006 (UTC)
Please don't add promotional links to Wikipedia see: Wikipedia talk:WikiProject Spam#Suite101 dot com
[edit]Thanks for contributing to Wikipedia. Unfortunately, the commercial links/content you added to the page Saint Thomas, U.S. Virgin Islands were inappropriate, as Wikipedia is an encyclopedia and should not be used for advertising or a collection of external links. See the welcome page if you'd like to learn more about contributing to the encyclopedia. Thanks!
Ohnoitsjamie asked you nicely once already not to do this, yet you went and did it again.
See Wikipedia talk:WikiProject Spam#Suite101 dot com.
This also applies to a link you added to the Saint John, U.S. Virgin Islands article after the first warning/request.
