[edit]...thank you is in order! Your contributions to Mika (singer), including related pages are greatly appreciated. I give you a pat on the back! You are doing a fine job - keep it up! :) Jonny (talk) 01:14, 26 September 2009 (UTC)
Re: Red links and attitude
[edit]Hi, i'm sorry if you consider my attitude to be rude, it was not intended that way. It's just that I do not believe that the "Jodi Marr" page will be created... (the name has been red-linked for a long time + nobody knows who that is + he/she only wrote a few songs on the album) if it will be created that would be very good. Once again, I'm sorry , my intentions are ONLY to HELP the page! (MariAna MiMi)
- Well I said that i'm sorry, what more do u want?? about my talk page, u have no idea about what the discussion was about and how it was solved, so don't presume things... & about that article, well i can't wait 2 see & find out who that is! Thank U!

[edit]Welcome to Wikipedia. Although everyone is welcome to make constructive contributions to Wikipedia, at least one of your recent edits, such as the one you made to Rain (Mika song), did not appear to be constructive and has been reverted. Please use the sandbox for any test edits you would like to make, and read the welcome page to learn more about contributing constructively to this encyclopedia. Thank you. - What on earth are you talking about. Freshpop (talk) 23:34, 20 October 2009 (UTC)
- My bad, I mistook your edit for vandalism. Sorry! Burner0718 JibbaJabba! 23:43, 20 October 2009 (UTC)
- Maybe reading the editing before reverting would be a good idea. Thanks, Freshpop (talk) 23:50, 20 October 2009 (UTC)

Orphaned non-free image File:Matdhollywood.jpg
[edit]Thanks for uploading File:Matdhollywood.jpg. The image description page currently specifies that the image is non-free and may only be used on Wikipedia under a claim of fair use. However, the image is currently orphaned, meaning that it is not used in any articles on Wikipedia. If the image was previously in an article, please go to the article and see why it was removed. You may add it back if you think that that will be useful. However, please note that images for which a replacement could be created are not acceptable for use on Wikipedia (see our policy for non-free media).
If you have uploaded other unlicensed media, please check whether they're used in any articles or not. You can find a list of "file" pages you have edited by clicking on the "my contributions" link (it is located at the very top of any Wikipedia page when you are logged in), and then selecting "File" from the dropdown box. Note that any non-free images not used in any articles will be deleted after seven days, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. Thank you. Skier Dude (talk) 01:42, 13 December 2009 (UTC)
- The image is currently not being used because the article has been redirected until it's closer to the release of the single. At which time the image will be used again. Freshpop (talk) 01:51, 13 December 2009 (UTC)
Speedy deletion declined: Invisible Light
[edit]Hello Freshpop. I am just letting you know that I declined the speedy deletion of Invisible Light, a page you tagged for speedy deletion, because of the following concern: Notability is not a valid CSD criteria; use WP:PROD or WP:AfD for notability issues. Thank you. Olaf Davis (talk) 19:55, 25 January 2010 (UTC)
Family Jewels
[edit]I have found and cited the tweet advising the revised release date. I take it as read that you are sure that this is her twitter account (I haven't been following it). --JN466 00:44, 2 February 2010 (UTC)
- Yeah it defiantly is her Twitter account. I noticed last week that the release date had changed on Play.com, hmv.com and on the iTunes store, so I asked her on Twitter and that Tweet from her followed. Freshpop (talk) 10:04, 2 February 2010 (UTC)
My Edit
[edit]What did I do? I'm sorry for whatever I did, it may have been another famiyl member using my account as I never liek to vandalise wikipedia and always reference my work. User_Talk:Jewls1993
Bested
[edit]Hi, I just thought I should let know know that bested actually is a word. It is the simple past and past participle of the verb to best, meaning "to beat in a contest". Similarly, worsted is also a word meaning to defeat, but is rare. AnemoneProjectors (talk) 21:31, 24 February 2010 (UTC)
Re: Head First (Goldfrapp album)
[edit]It works differently in Wikipedia; take a look at The Fame, for example. I don't think an academic paper would quote from another publication, though. SnapSnap 17:34, 30 May 2010 (UTC)
Regarding your edit here, please be aware that WP:PROD policy allows editors to contest a prod for any reason. We're not allowed to re-tag with prod; the next step is AfD. Thanks, Paul Erik (talk)(contribs) 21:57, 25 August 2011 (UTC)
- Thank you, I wasn't aware of this rule, added the AfD. Do you agree with the deletion? Thanks again, Freshpop (talk) 22:00, 25 August 2011 (UTC)
- I'm not taking a position just yet, but I should point out that at the AfD you have not made it clear whether or not you have done the relevant homework. :) Paul Erik (talk)(contribs) 22:19, 25 August 2011 (UTC)
- Shouldn't it just be presumed that I have? I've been following the developments of this album closely, as I did with The Boy Who Knew Too Much (album). The Origin of Love article is full of information that isn't cited, and as you know albums don't normally have an article until the track listing, release date, album cover and title have all been confirmed by either numerous sources or the record label. Thanks, Freshpop (talk) 22:25, 25 August 2011 (UTC)
- Okay, fair enough; I didn't know you were following the developments closely. An alternative to deletion would be to redirect to Mika (singer) as it does appear that the title is confirmed, no? Paul Erik (talk)(contribs) 22:30, 25 August 2011 (UTC)
- That would make more sense. I believe Mika has stated in only one french interview that it will be the title. I do hope he changes it though, as he did with his last album which was originally going to be named 'We Are Golden' after the name of the song, but changed it weeks before release. Freshpop (talk) 22:32, 25 August 2011 (UTC)
- It's not the best title, no. Paul Erik (talk)(contribs) 22:39, 25 August 2011 (UTC)
- Glad you agree! Freshpop (talk) 22:40, 25 August 2011 (UTC)
